This hotel is inviting from the moment you walk in. The woodwork and open concept atrium is appealing. Staff are extra friendly, even those who clean the rooms. Front desk made sure I was given my appropriate rewards points. No question or request, including a...More
Though the outside is a little surprising when you get there, the inside of the hotel is extremely cozy and nice, and the staff are just the kindest you'll ever meet. They truly went out of their way to help me when I needed it,...More

Thank you for the 5 Star Rating and for complimenting our associates, your assurance to return is what we strive for and we look forward to your next visit.
Good hotel to stay. Room was clean and big enough to stay one week. Breakfast is OK although nothing special. Parking free and service is fine. It's a good place although not close to Toronto downtown.
Thank Claudio B

The staff here were nice and friendly and did their best to be accommodating. This was an older hotel. There was no refrigerator or microwave in the room and no alternative available. Free wi-fi but very slow internet. Couldn’t even upload our photos to Facebook...More

Holiday Inn Express Toronto East Hotel Scarborough ,
Situated astride Lake Ontario, Scarborough is a district heavily influenced by immigration. With a number of low-rent shopping and dining options making it a highly affordable part of town, and boasting one of Toronto's largest shopping malls, the otherwise green suburban neighborhood is a good place to go for bargains and discounts. It also draws in photographers. The spires, archways, and cavernous
rooms of the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Palace are filled with breathtaking art, architecture, and detailed reliefs – it’s like entering a different world, The ruins of columns and installation art at the Guild Inn makes a free-for-all exploration site, while the big-name draw for young photographers is the menagerie at the Toronto Zoo. While many visitors shirk Scarborough as too suburban, its houses are some of Toronto's most mystical and haunting architectural beauties. And for adventure lovers, it has river-rafting and some unique hiking trails.
So sorry, I didn't see this question. 'This hotel is nowhere close to Pearson. Way more choices near the airport and they all have free shuttles. This hotel is not particularly close to the GO train or VIA rail station
