Great business trip to Toronto! I loved the Hyatt's location and the recent renovations were very well done. The desk staff was extremely helpful and always went out of their way to assist any way possible.

Exterior was a little old but interior made up for it. The inside was nice however the escalators near the check in reminded me of a mall. There was also many people coming in and out of the building all day and night that I was surprised and relieved that my room was quiet. The rooms were very nice and...

Great room, great location, staff is tremendous. Parking at hotel and in the entertainment district. We stayed here for the weekend to enjoy the area and see the TSO. Room is plenty big and clean with a Starbucks on site as well as a restaurant. Anything you could want to do in Toronto downtown is walking distance. Pool is closed...

Checking in was efficient. We parked outside temporarily while we checked in, registered my rental car, and then I parked myself underground. The underground parking was a bit tight, especially around corners when there are oncoming traffic. The room was standard (meaning small). The bathroom door has a large glass insert, so at night, when you turn on th bathroom...

Great location in entertainment district and surrounded by other great parts of the city to explore, with shopping and plenty of restaurant options a few minutes away on foot. Staff go above and beyond and was appreciated they have security by the elevators on busy nights so party bunches didn't get in the way of a wonderful night's sleep.

Hyatt Regency Toronto is a true representative of Hyatt’s above and beyond guest service philosophy. I called the hotel a few days prior to my arrival, informing them that we are coming to celebrate my husband’s birthday. During the check-in process the Front Desk associate wished him a Happy Birthday, which surprised him. As we were walking towards our room...

Staying in Downtown West

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
