Excellent location. Clean. Very nice room. Good internet access. Parking a little expensive. Right in the intertainment district. Great restaurant around. Not noisy at night, clean and felt totally safe.

Stayed at the Hyatt for one night while visiting Toronto to see a Blue Jays game. Convenient location with an underground parking garage (pretty tight fit for bigger SUVs or trucks, but doable). Check-in was friendly and quick. We were in a hurry do make the game, so we didn't have time to explore the hotel or the indoor pool.... More

The proximity to the CN Tower, Rodgers centre (Blue Jays Bball stadium), Rypleys aquarium was amazing. This hotel offers indoor/ underground parking ($32 a day), 17th outdoor pool and lounge, amazing views of Toronto on the upper floor rooms (we were on the 18th floor). The rooms are expensive but you get what you pay for, we had a suite... More

Very well located for central Toronto, and minutes from Second City (see separate review!). Reception staff couldn't have been more helpful, from early check in to allowing us to use the pool area after check out, as we had a late flight. The pool is heated and has a view of the CN Tower. There is, however, no shade on... More

The hotel is in a great location for access to the entertainment district and restaurants. Rooms are clean. We did not have any meals there. Vehicle access was a bit hard to find at first. Front desk staff were very courteous and helpful.

I have been to many high end hotels but the service I received from this one was well below par. I arrived with my grandson in tow by Taxi and there was no bell hop in site. Thankfully the taxi driver was so excellent he helped me set up the stroller and bring my luggage into the hotel. When the... More

We took our boys to there first Jay's game and wanted to stay nice and close. Only a few blocks from the Rogers centre. We loved the roof top pool and breakfast was great. Would definitely stay again. We were thankful that our room was available earlier than check in and lots of parking underground. At checkout we were able... More

I am so happy to hear that you and your family had an exceptional stay at our hotel. We have a very convenient location within walking distance to many of Toronto main attractions. I am glad we were able to accommodate an earlier check-in. It sounds like you and your kids enjoyed our pool. Your recommendation is our biggest compliment.... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
