We stayed here for a wedding and we were happy with the location. The rooms are a little on the smaller side but that can be expected for a city. We were able to easily walk to several restaurants and the hotel staff was helpful in getting us a cab when needed. The room was clean and price was very... More

Great place at an affordable price. I managed to get accommodation in spite of the film festival going on in Toronto. Nice hotel and great proximity to all the happening places including some of the finest restaurants.

We came to Toronto to see the Blue Jay's and World Cup of Hockey game. The hotel check in staff were absolutely awesome and allowed us to check in early after a long 6 hour flight. Thanks again for a great stay.

We arrived by car late evening after visiting Niagara Falls. Room was adequate size, nothing special. Glad we got a good deal... would have been disappointing otherwise. Glad we spent only two nights and were out and about during the day. Staff was pleasant and helpful with identifying local resources/attractions.

Great hotel for a personal value trip, but the rooms are small, internet service is intermittent and the gym is a converted suite with limited equipment and no ventilation. West King street locale is great, as is the Starbucks connected to the lobby.

Stayed at this hotel for my sisters wedding. This hotel is in a great location, and had great amenities. Overall I am very pleased with my stay. Both checking in and checking out were a breeze. There was plenty of room in the underground parking, unfortunately the hotel parking was not included in the room price, but was offered at... More

Joe at the front desk was very helpful. I had to stay in Toronto during the TIFF week for my onward journey to the Bruce Peninsula and the rooms were very expensive but worth the price. My view from the 15th floor was nice. The room was clean, bed was comfortable and the internet speed was fast.

Had business to do in financial district and this one of the last affordable hotel within a 30 minutes walk. This hotel is more suited for leisure and tourists, not at the standard of business hotel even if I found the service efficient. No wow factor here, you get for what you pay. Convenient if you come here for the... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
