We have spent 6 weeks here as my husband had major surgery at Toronto General Hospital, a 5 minute walk. We wanted to be in the area for the recovery period and the many doctors appointments that are required in the post operative period. We think this is the best money we have ever spent. We left the car at... More

I stayed here with mum for 4 weeks in August 2012 during our vacation to Toronto, Canada. Making a booking from Sydney, Australia to an international destination is no easy thing. I decided early on I wanted a serviced apartment, as I'm keen on cooking and was really excited about the idea of cooking with Canadian food. I sent off... More

We stayed in a one bedroom suite on Minto's Elm Street location. We were here for 2 months. First off I can say that paying $5000 to stay here for two months is a 1 out of 5 for price. The building overall was clean. Outside patio was nice. Gardens maintained well. Elevators were in the midst of going through... More

Upon arrival, our apartment's keys were not available (we arrived after the usual check in time). The security guards were unfriendly and insulting, and demanded that we do exactly as told, after we had been inconvenienced by their lack of ability. Once in the apartment, there was only cutlery for two people. Two spoons, two forks, two knives - that... More

Loved my suite - everything I needed for a long stay in Toronto. Is on a busy road but not noisy in my suite. Great for shopping, eating out and people watching! The deli below is superb for food shopping (& Whole Foods close by) and the deli also has a cafe with great coffee and seats outside to watch... More

Good location, great service but traffic is nuts, and those early morning garbage trucks banging those dumpsters around make staying on the west facing suites very noisy very early in the morning and the constant sirens up and down Bay St make it noisy for those in the east facing suites. Don't expect to sleep in. City living I guess....

The Minto Furnished Suites in Yorkville are luxury serviced apartments available for rent with a minimum 1 month stay, so they are also suitable for holidaymakers who plan on being in Toronto for 30 days as well as business people staying short-term in Toronto or relocating to Toronto. My stay at the Minto Yorkville was outstanding and I cannot recommend... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its most stylish high-rise residences and heritage buildings. The area sees busy shoppers with bag-laden arms balancing lattes in paper cups as they travel from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools, jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill Revision are always a hub of outdoor activity, and after a workout from either running or splurging, many take advantage of the spas and massage parlors Midtown has to offer. Away from the bakeries, boutiques, and glamorous old theaters of the district's center, locals use the weekend to embrace the more suburban feel of Midtown's parks, tennis courts, outdoor markets, and the manicured grounds of Casa Loma, while families indulge the area's state-of-the-art playground and learning facilities. Of course, no high-brow district is complete without a healthy counter-culture: Midtown boasts some of the wildest street art and full-wall graffiti of any neighborhood in Toronto.
