I spent this past weekend with two friends in Toronto for a "Girlfriend Getaway", aimed at dining, shopping and attending a Heart concert. We booked this hotel on Priceline in the spring, didn't know which hotel we were getting until we paid for it, but knew it was a 4 star in the Entertainment District. In my book, it was a 5 star hotel in every sense of the word. The entire hotel was elegant, spotless, immaculate. Our room was huge and designed for comfort. Amazing how quiet it was also, they must have installed great acoustics or built thicker walls because we never heard anything outside of the room. We were so surprised to find out that we had a field view room--no home game while we were there but super cool regardless. What an amazing pool and fitness center! And the staff was so nice and helpful, everyone, from the valet parking attendant to the front desk staff, the bartender who wrote out a list of restaurants and music clubs, and especially Alex, our server for breakfast, who was quite possibly the nicest person I've ever encountered at a restaurant. One of us was having some stomach issues and he went out of his way to not only get a ginger ale for her in the room, but also a small container of ginger fresh from the kitchen. The hotel is so lucky to have him on their staff!! To sum it up: stay here, you will be so glad you did!!

Marriott City Centre is an excellent place to stay in Toronto. Rooms overlooking Rogers baseball stadium are special. Overall service very good and helpful. Restaurant food is good, but pricey. Overall stay was very comfortable.

I saved up for about a year to do this for my birthday and I must say it was an experience my family will never forget. I got the bi-level field view room which is the largest room and the closest to the action. Checked in just after 3pm and got to enjoy batting practice before the stadium even opened. For this room you are allowed to have 12 people to view the game and 4 to sleepover. There was 12 of us and we all fit comfortably on the first floor and all had a decent view of the game. There is a TV on each floor that u can watch the game on as well. I believe this is the only stadium in the world that has a hotel built into it and if u have the money it is well worth it. I believe the hotel has been updated over the last year or 2 so everything was very nice. The only draw back is at night there is a very loud humming from the leaf blowers that the stuff used to clean the place up, but I guess it’s just part of sleeping in a stadium.

We have been going up to see a game during Canada Day/ 4th of July for a few years now. Each year the price has gone up disproportionally to any inflation, and not just by a little bit. It’s a shame because if it goes any higher we will not be staying there anymore. I will already pass on parking with the hotel which is now $50CAD for just one night. Don’t let that mean that the rooms aren’t awesome. They are. The problem is that the value is gone and that’s a shame.

This was my first stay at this hotel and I was in town to attend a meeting at the Convention Center which is only a 5 min walk away. The hotel is connected to the stadium so you get a lot of good energy and vibes and I enjoyed the full service Starbucks in the lobby! The front desk staff were extremely nice, helpful and friendly. The room was modern and comfortable. The décor was up to date and maintained well. The club lounge is huge and a wonderful place to eat, relax or work! The only odd thing is the hallways. They literally are a maze and I felt like there would be a reward at the end for finding my room. Take a look at the hotel floor plan I uploaded. All those 90 degree turns to get to my room was strange. This hotel wins for the strangest hallway floor plan. Follow the blue line to the blue dot on the floor plan map and you will see what I am talking about. However, strange hallways aside, I would STILL stay here on my next trip! The room was great and the area was perfect too. We walked to restaurants each day/night for lunch and dinner and were very happy with our hotel selection.
