We stayed in the Palmerston Suite on top floor of Roberta's place. To call this a suite is a gross understatement. The apartment is fully equipped with every possible amenity, from the hair drier to the washing machine and dryer as well as a fully equipped kitchen. A full breakfast is shared in the magnificent dining room. Roberta caters for... More

For this visit we were looking for the opposite of a highrise hotel in the busy downtown, we wanted something in a neighbourhood, where we could come "home" to a restful, private place to recoup after the long days touring about. Annex Garden was absolutely perfect in these respects, the home is beautiful as well as very comfortable, Euclid Street... More

This B&B set the bar very high for the first of the places we would be staying during our holiday in Ontario and Quebec. Roberta thought of everything a guest would want from the coffee machine and refridgerator in the room to having cosy living spaces to sit and chat after a day sightseeing so that we didn't have to... Owner Roberta runs this place with a lot of attention to her guests' wishes and needs up to the smallest detail. We had the "Visser suite" for three days. Beds are comfortable, all is tidy and state-of-the art. Breakfast is vegetarian with a lot of choice (cereals, fruits, different kind of bread, cheese) and varied during our three day stay... More

Thanks so much for your kind review. We always appreciate feedback from our guests. Just wanted to clarify that the cute little pigs are actually cute little pug dogs, in case anyone thought we were running a farm here in the city! More

What a great place to stay in Toronto. I stayed inthe one bedroom suite downstairs with full kitchen, living area, and private bath. This is lovely pristine home with tasteful, elegant decor and about 15-20 minutes from Toronto Island Airport by cab. Roberta is a wonderful host who goes out of her way to make guests feel welcome and comfortable.... More

Stayed 2 nights at this lovely B & B. Home has beautiful antiques, is tastefully decorated but has wonderful modern touches. Roberta does an outstanding job and was always willing to answer questions, help with reservations for meals, and did an amazing breakfast each morning. We stayed in the suite on the top floor - everything a guest would want... More

Husband and I stayed in the 1 bedroom Palmerston Suite on the top floor for 2 weeks. Full kitchen, washer, dryer, dishwasher. Wonderful amenities in suite: toiletries, luxurious body cream, full magazine rack. Bath robes. Full range of coffees, water stocked in fridge. Comfortable bed and linens. Wished it had been a King but still it was fine and comfortable.... More

Staying in Little Italy

Neighborhood Profile
Little Italy
Toronto's Little Italy is a city hotspot for cafe culture and nightlife. There's something for everyone in Little Italy, apparent from the cross-section of clubbers in glitzy dresses, and elderly couples arm-in-arm heading to their favorite wine or pasta spot. Cafes spill onto the wide sidewalks, pool lounges and bars are always teeming with noise and activity, and both outdoor and indoor marketplaces are packed with fresh fish, cured meats, and pungent cheeses. All of the activity makes it a perfect spot for people-watching, especially over a nice glass of red wine or a quick and sumptuous slice of pizza at one of the many eateries or trattorias in the area.
