Excellent service ethic by the owners. They booked us on short notice when we called in the morning of the same day, waited for us to arrive after hours, had registered us so minimum of paperwork after we arrived at 9:10PM. Showed us to our campsite by golf cart and answered any questions we had about services in Thunder Bay.... More

We reserved a premium site. Very nice with swing, fire pit.. Table chairs.. Gas grill etc. Pricy but nice. Wifi is almost non existent, even in the office. Most sites are a bit tight. Nice water area. Driving range. Family run place. Easy SATV I would return.

This campground is near main roads with easy access. We were tired from driving so did not partake of the activities, including Canada Day fireworks. We also did not use any facilities so cannot comment on them. Our site worked well for us. There is a well stocked store, pool and play area for children.

We had planned to stay here on June 15th, 2016. However we had had no cell service since getting to Canada 2 weeks ago and decided to re-enter the states on 6/14. We stayed at Winnipeg West KOA on 6/13. The owner here was most gracious and let us borrow his phone to cancel our reservation at Thunder Bay KOA.... More

KOA nice and clean as always, friendly staff, sites were well serviced. There were shuffle board courts, horseshoes, dog run and pool which we didn't have time to use. Also nice and quiet, despite proximity to the highway. Peepers were singing loudly all evening. Other campers were close, but quiet.

First off let me say I think KOA's charge too much for their campsites. They charge for their amenities with little or no regard for their surroundings and this one is no exception. It is located directly off of the Trans Canada Highway and the noise was awful - all the time. If you're a light sleeper, don't stay here.... More

Typical KOA .... But it was too expensive given the fact that the pass was not level and other amenities were still off for the season... The folks in the office could care less that we were there too.

This rv park is well laid out and dog friendly. Wish it had been open when we were here in early April. Not cheap, but full service. Propane on site. Some trees and some wide open spaces. Close to the Trans Canada highway.

During a summer cross country trip. My family and I were in need of a place to stay. We came upon this KOA purely by accident. It turned out to be the best place to stay in Thunder Bay. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. We had an absolute blast. Thank-you for having us!!
