We enjoyed a midweek visit to Stratford and chose to stay at the Bruce. Our stay was absolutely wonderful. First of all we felt quite safe with the pandemic procedures that the hotel has put in place. The hotel proved to be comfortable and luxurious. The lobby area and hallways are adorned with decorations themed for Stratford's theatrical history. The food services were well prepared and well served. The staff were always willing to do everything they could to make our stay the best possible.

We chose the Bruce Hotel for a little stay-cation to celebrate a birthday (& to offer a nice pick-me-up in these Covid times!). We were wowed from start to finish and would highly recommend. From the moment the front doors "magically" open, guests feel welcomed and comfortable. The lobby looks gorgeous all decorated for the holidays - especially the gingerbread houses! The staff is top-notch, and every single interaction we had with a staff member was positive. I got the impression that the staff truly cares about guests having a great experience. In particular Rishi at front reception & Brad were extra helpful, giving us a quick tour, sorting out paperwork, keeping the fire lit, and always up for a chat! The room we stayed in was beautiful, spacious, clean, and exceeded our expectations. Despite the necessary changes due to Covid, we did not feel like anything was missing from our experience (the "cookie hotline" is genius!) and were able to relax fully. A highlight was definitely getting to sit in the lobby in front of the big roaring fire, which staff kept stoked for us all weekend long. We have already planned our next stay-cation & hope to try the spa next time too. We would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing, luxurious getaway!

We again stayed at The Bruce this past weekend, one of our favorite luxury country hotels in Southern Ontario, along with Langdon Hall. While many properties have cut back in the age of Covid, perfectly understandable, The Bruce has not. They still don't miss a beat. Robes, slippers, evening turn downs, daily housekeeping, welcomng sweets, still & sparkling water, first class dining room. Plus, and it is no small consideration at present, the quiet, charming town of Stratford has had exactly two virus cases since the pandemic began. Is it any wonder the came guests that frequent Langdon Hall also frequent The Bruce? We highly recommend it

Last weekend, we stayed at the Bruce hotel. We have travelled all over the world, and have stayed at many wonderful hotels, but the exemplary service at the Bruce, along with the large, comfortable suites, made this my favourite yet. All of the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful time. From the moment we arrived at the front of the hotel, till the moment we left, the staff made us feel like visiting royalty. Nothing was too much to ask, and everything was done with smiling eyes and kind words (masks cannot hide the smiles on the faces of the staff). The rooms are all very large, and no detail has been overlooked. Especially wonderful are the large balconies with comfortable seating, dual vanities in the bathroom with a separate room for the commode, and the rainfall shower. The food in the restaurant was fabulous - very inventive, beautifully presented and delicious. During COVID, I wasn’t much looking forward to a weekend with masks and restrictions, but we had the time of our lives. We have already booked another weekend visit in February, so that we have something wonderful to look forward to.

This is a truly wonderful hotel thanks to the great staff. They make an extraordinary effort to recognize you and personalize your stay, without being overbearing. I was always greeted me by name, and they ensured that every request was completed exactly as I wanted it. I can’t remember the last time I was so impressed with a hotel team. We stayed over Canadian Thanksgiving. The Thanksgiving dinner was excellent, and, upon departure, they even made us turkey sandwiches to go. Breakfasts were also outstanding, as was the room service team. Rooms are massive (60m2) with comfortable beds and luxurious bathrooms. I highly recommend this hotel.
