Very convenient to the theatres and dining places. The owners are very knowledgeable about the literary world. Lots of books and artefacts to browse in the house as well. We had a spacious family room in the front of the house, quiet and peaceful surroundings. Delicious french toast and lots of fruit.

Staying at Brunswick House was an adventure in itself. Run by Gay (a poet) and Geoff (a writer), it was welcoming, comfortable, and entertaining. The beds were very comfortable and there were two shared baths on the floor so you rarely had to wait. The rooms are air-conditioned and beautifully decorated. Gay served a gorgeous fresh fruit and french toast...

If you're looking for value and authenticity, this is the place. Geoff and Gay have been running their B&B in Stratford forever. As writers and poets they not only know most of the Canlit world, but know every nook and cranny vis a vis the festival. Every director, actor, all the insider info and not just the here and now...

I've been staying at Brunswick House since the late '80s. It's an integral part of my annual pilgrimage to Stratford. Excellent breakfasts (bonus: always fascinating folks to talk to), very comfortable rooms, with air conditioning. The bathrooms are shared, but I've rarely had to wait. I can't imagine staying anywhere else. I think of it as the "G&G" because Geoff...

I have stayed with Gay and Geoff several times. I love it there and I love them. They have delicious breakfasts, a lovely home, comfortable beds, a great selection of books and articles about plays. They are also a block away from the Studio and Avon Theatres and the rest of town. I'll be back again next year!
