The Festival Inn is extremely dated and really needs to improve their housekeeping. From dirty towels to broken toilets to messy hallways, this place needs a lot of help. The breakfast would be fine if it were free but the price paid for this hotel needed a decent breakfast to round things out. The most disappointing part of our weekend...

When you fail to plan you plan to fail. Last minute weekend getaway to quaint Stratford, landed us here. Pickings were slim, we were coming to see a few shows and required overnight stays. Front desk staff was indifferent. She was not very helpful. This is place might be wise to be the first to start using robots. She did...

This hotel is in a desperate need of refurbishment. The rooms are outdated . The hot water coming out of the bathroom tap is scalding hot. There are no micrwaves in the rooms. The hallways have dirty carpet and old stuccoed walls. Breakfast is included however, it is a poor effort on breakfast. The menu is minimal and the scrambled eggs...

We've stayed at the Festival Inn several times over the past decade. It is not the newest hotel, but it is well-kept. It is not in the center of Stratford, so a car is needed to go for dinner and theater productions in town. There's plenty of parking at the hotel. The prices are reasonable, but not especially low, but...

We stayed for one night at The Festival Inn. Our rooms were in "The Courtyard" which is the motel style portion of the hotel. 3 of the 4 rooms we were assigned to had been renovated in a very pleasant style. The 4th one wasn't, but it was fine - just dated. The room rate ($150) included a buffet breakfast...

We were looking for a cheap hotel for our overnight stay after two theatre performances the same day. I have stayed in more comfortable accommodations in 2 star hotels in developing countries. It was a beautiful, warm and sunny day outside and our room was cold, clammy, dank and dismal. The beds were uncomfortable, the bedding suspect and the carpet...

The inn is really a motel, and seems to be lost in a time warp from 1972. My first room spelled of cat urine, my second room of smoke. The bedding and carpet seemed dirty and old, the bathroom was original fixtures and not cleaned well. The a/c unit was not working properly with the knobs broken off. The gym...

We chose this hotel because it was the only hotel we could find in Stratford that allowed dogs and had vacancy for our dates. It was more than I wanted to spend: they charge $45 as a pet charge on top of the room charge, which I felt was a bit steep. It's a per-visit rather than per-night charge though,...

Let me preface by saying we've stayed here for our Stratford theater week since the early 1980's. We've seen it grow from a small motel outside of town to the large Inn it is today. Unfortunately, things are beginning to slide. Rooms are getting pretty worn and it's kinda dirty. They have also reduced the services and amenities quite a...

Staying at The Festival Inn is a bit like time traveling back to 60s. The rooms are clean (except for the bed spread) and large, but the furnishings are the day before yesterday. The staff is friendly and helpful. The free breakfast buffet is worth the price. You're much better off at Tim Horton's across the street. It's located on...
