As usual, the stay with Heather at Chisholms was a pure pleasure. She and Bob, the dog, are wonderful hosts. The rooms are lovely, the food is delicious the other guests were delight to interact with. Chisholms is perfectly placed approximately halfway between the Festival theatre and the Avon.

A classic stay . This 1881 beauty did not disappoint . Gracefully decorated with art and antiques Heather has created a gem. Fresh baked scones ,homemade jam, local apple cider ,frittata with goat cheese and roasted peppers and scalloped potatoes served in a stunning dinning room with French pressed coffee. It doesn’t get better than this and walking distance to the theatres gardens and downtown. Spectacular! Thank you Heather for the guided walk after our lovely breakfast. We will return. Mona Brown

A great location for walking everywhere - theatres, restaurants, shopping. Enjoyed the Washington Room with its very comfortable seating area. The breakfasts are delicious, fresh local ingredients and always something different. Bob the resident dog is charming. Thanks.

We came for the Stratford Festival for 2 nights, and it was perfect. Heather was the perfect host, delicious breakfasts (though a bit over the top), companionable guests, and within walking distance of the theatres. Heather was great fun to talk to. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed an excellent 2-night stay recently. The wonderful gourmet breakfast ensures that the day gets off to a solid start. The rooms in this cozy Victorian home are spacious and tastefully appointed. Nothing is lacking. Location couldn’t be better. We can’t wait to return.

We recently were in Stratford for a couple of days and were fortunate to stay at the Chisholms. The location was perfect, walking distance from shops, restaurants, and theaters. The house is lovely and our room was comfortable and clean. Most noteworthy are the breakfasts. Heather is an amazing cook. We have stayed at many B&Bs and this one had the best breakfast!

A desirable place to stay close to the centre. Extremely comfortable room. Very friendly hostess and superb breakfast, different every day. Better than a 5* hotel. Well worth the money. Would recommend to family and friends without hesitation.

We stayed on the weekend for the Stratford Theatre festival. The Chisholms is a very warm and welcoming place. Everything is very nicely decorated with art and antiques. Walking distance to the theatres. The breakfast was superb. They also have a super cozy and spacious front porch for handing out and drinks. Highly recommend for your stay in Stratford.

Spent a wonderful 3 days at the Chisholm while taking in the annual theater festival. This inn is truly a 5 star experience. Innkeeper Heather ' warm and inviting personality make you feel like you're staying with a member of the family. The rooms are elegantly detailed with full attention to comfort and beauty. Heather's breakfasts were 3 courses of delectable excellence. When you're in Stratford stay at the Chisholm for a memorable experience.
