There is no other hotel/motel that we will stay at. This motel is clean, cosy, and has all the amenities you could need. They even give extra pillows and towels. The owners make you feel like family. We refuse to stay elsewhere ever again.

The Nguyen family have turned this motel into something more than what that term implies. For several years we've used it as our go-to place when visiting the Shaw Festival. This year, alas, the festival has been cancelled, but we decided to go anyway, see some friends. and visit attractions that are not normally on our list. The Capri's rooms are large, well-appointed, clean and quiet, the wifi is reliable, and the staff, as always, is very welcoming.

This is an older motel but don't let that discourage you in any way. The room I had the other night is the exact room in the picture and I was very, very happy with it ! The furniture, bed, bedding, heating/cooling system, carpet and even the towels are all new and a person would be hard pressed to tell that it's an older establishment. Don't waste your money on the almost double priced hotel 3 mins down Ontario street ! (That's an old place too but it has a nationally recognized name) These people have spent a lot of money to stay competitive and modern and it shows inside and out (The 2nd floor stainless steel handrail and the stainless stairs must've cost a small fortune but it's actually noticeable and nice when you're going up the stairway) I know.... who cares about a handrail ? You will ! It feels new and clean. Talking about clean... The room was spotless, the fridge was cold and clean, new sheets, pillows, blanket and bedspread (that I never use even there) .... Nice people too.... Try it ! You'll like it !

We have stayed at the Capri about 15 days per year over the last 9 years and have found it consistently excellent. We have gotten to know Mary and Teddy, the proprietors, quite well. They see our reservation and give us our favourite room. They maintain the place well and keep doing little renovations. The rooms are a generous size and have bar fridge, coffee maker, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, etc. The location is good on Ontario St at the QEW. You can walk to Tim Hortons or McDonalds. Noise has never been a problem. Cleaning standards are rigorous.
