Pretty decent for the price. Everything was nice and clean. The room was spacious, and we even had a sofa and microwave as well as mini fridge. The staff were very friendly. Good pool and hot tub, though you could see somewhere on the ceiling in the pool area. Free breakfast with some good offerings, sausage and eggs, coffee, juice, muffins, etc. We enjoyed our stay and it was very quiet.

I am visiting Peterborough from the US. I came to visit family and friends and I’m currently under the 14 day mandated quarantine isolation in this hotel. This has been the most challenging, financially straining, humiliating, emotionally challenging task I’ve ever done. I am following all of the countries requirements to be here legally.
Everyone has no idea how handicapped a person becomes when they subjugate themselves to this and this is the reason where my praises to the hotel is warranted & a review is essential to hopefully give other travelers a chance to come to a hotel where you can be treated the same way I have, like a human being and with concern.
Because I am unable to leave my room (for whatsoever reason) & Housekeeping or anyone is not allowed in the room under the quarantine order, the Hotel ( Comfort Inn & Suites) & Staff have been phenomenal with going out of their way to make accommodations around my isolation by bringing me a breakfast bag ( Delivered to my room) every day. I have been able to call down at the front desk to ask for certain things on a daily basis without any attitude, or any resistance. They provided me with cleaning supplies so I’m able to clean the bathroom. Anytime I need trash bags or I need to put my trash out for them to take, I just called them and they come and get it in a timely manner.
I have family friends that bring me groceries every day and they drop it off at the front desk and the staff bring them up to my room very promptly.
Several times I’ve called down to the desk asking for coffee pods and they bring up (more than what I’ve asked for) Along with the added creams and sugars.
My room is well equipped with a fridge, microwave, a desk to do my work. The beds are very comfortable ( I should know because I’ve been sleeping on them continuously for 14 days without a break). The Wi-Fi signal is powerful and sufficient to the various things I needed it to do.
The wonderful deep bath tub and the powerful water that comes out of the faucet is phenomenal.
I see people commenting “the hotel doesn’t serve hot food because of COVID-19.” Don’t blame the hotel for this, The hotel has done nothing wrong & they’re only doing ((( and following orders the govt tells them). They’re following the rules like the rest of us have to.
It’s thanks to this hotel & staff, I haven’t lost my mind. highly recommend anyone to stay here at this property.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights on a recent roadtrip.
On the positive side, the room was comfortable and I enjoyed soaking in the whirlpool tub after a day of hiking at Petroglyphs Provincial Park.
On the negative side, the room didn't get cleaned while we were out during the day. At the bare minimum, they could have brought some fresh towels.
No hot breakfast served due to Covid 19. Instead, guests had the option to get a paper bag with a muffin and juice. We ended up going across the street to Wimpy's Diner for omelets and pancakes.

Thank you for your review. I am glad to read you enjoyed your room ( and tub) and I hope you had a great time exploring the Peterborough area. Right now, due to Covid we have limited housekeeping service. We are only providing service to stayover rooms on specific days, and providing towel drop off at our Guest's request only. This limits opportunity for the spread of virus from person to person. Currently our breakfast offering is "to go" and includes a muffin, yogurt, juice and an orange. All items offered to our guests are pre-packaged again in response to Covid-19. We look forward to change and a return to service as usual ( we hope soon) Thank you for your comments, we appreciate the feedback!

To start with, the reception staff and the staff approached regarding smell in our room were professional and gracious. There is a management problem in this hotel. It was bad. There must be people living here. People gather to sit and smoke in lawn chairs along the side entrance. Not very welcoming. There needs to be a picnic area for people to gather, not to greet new vacationers. This results in 100's of cigarette butts. It is up to people to pick up their dogs poop but if they don't management must do something about it. The amount of dog poop was disturbing. The smell in our room was also disturbing. I was too tired to move, but I did not feel confident my health was going to do well during these COVID times. I think it was the carpet or the room had been closed up for a long time. The tub tap was running, not just dripping, it was running. The room did not inspire cleanliness on any level. We brought our dog and paid the extra fee and as such did not expect the best room, but a dirty room, with an air conditioner was in it combined with everything else was bad. Peterborough must do better with our hotels.

This hotel is quickley accessible from the highway. It has a great pool and hot tub . In the morning it has a great buffet complimentary breakfast with (bacon and eggs or sausage plus ). This hotel is combined with a "Kelseys" which is joined in the lobby. Enjoyed not having to venture out in the cold for a good meal.

We stayed here for 3 nights to enjoy a little getaway. We had an upgraded room where we enjoyed the fireplace and jacuzzi tub and it was nice the room had a microwave and fridge as well as a couch. Breakfast was simple but worked (breakfast sandwich, fruit, pastries) and coffee was complementary all the time. Staff were friendly and it was in close proximity to various eating and shopping places.

The room had a king sized bed and a sitting area which was great for watching TV. As with most hotel rooms, there was a fridge, coffee pot and microwave. I stayed there for 2 nights and staff were most accommodating regardless of shift. There was a taste of normalcy as we could eat breakfast in the designated area. Breakfast was limited, but there was still a choice as you had 3 breakfast sandwiches to chose from and several juice selections.

Booked one of the last rooms on my smartphone yesterday afternoon. Called and inquired if pool and hot tub were open and what protocalls were. Pool is open, water is a tad cool, and hot tub is not available. You book pool time with the front desk when you check in. Bookable on every hour for 45 minutes. Have proof of vaccination handy when booking the pool. We had a blast while staying here

Stayed here with a large group overnight while attending a work function involving many vehicles. Reception and service was great. We asked as to if they had an outside hose to wash some of our work vehicles and they quickly set us up. The included breakfast was tasty with lots to choose from and the attached Kelsey's restaurant made for a nice supper.

I like this place! Went there with my family (wife and preteen) for 1-night and the place served it's purpose. I liked how there was a name-brand restaurant attached to the hotel (Kelseys), the pool was warm, and it was an easy 10-minute drive to the downtown nice part of Peterborough. The breakfast was also better than I was expecting (cereal option, waffle maker, toast, scrambled eggs, sausages, yogurt) This place could definitely use a bit of TLC so just set your expectations. The showers aren't too fancy and the decor feels a bit out of date. But this isn't downtown New York! We had a nice time.

We are currently still serving a grab and go breakfast with Juice, Yogurt, Muffins, a hot breakfast sandwich, coffee and tea,
Our guests choose the items they want and are supplied with a bag to gather their breakfast. Guests generally take these items to their room or with them to go.
Hi There, we do offer late check out options to our guests. We offer a noon late check out to all of our guests and sometimes are able to extend this offer until 2pm without a charge. ( based on availability of course) After 2pm we require another night stay be added to your booking.
