We just checked out this morning and I can say, It was the perfect stay for us. So the price was an incredible value and the price was exactly as advertised. I am a member of this chain of hotels. It is a free membership that comes with some little perks and discounted rooms, so why wouldn’t I be :) the rate was the bet in town. The hotel was Pet Friendly for my small dog and was 25$ Extra to have her travel with us….very reasonable. We requested a room on the main level which was great, especially with a dog, since there were sliding doors that went directly from the room, to the outside. The bedding……so soft and comfortable. I wish I could buy them somewhere for home…..seriously. There is everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Cable TV, microwave, fridge, in room coffee/tea, dark light blocking curtains, very clean, additional little welcome surprises and we loved a floor instead carpet. This and a free breakfast as well. I always encourage a few bucks for appreciating the work of those that put this food and drink service together. Anyway, we slept great and started our day on the right foot…..this is our new place whenever we stay in Peterborough. It is a budget hotel and just remember that when you decide if it is for your tastes. Thank you so very much!

No frills motel, everything basic however clean and in good condition. Continental breakfast was served in the morning. Limited choices but enough to start the day. Relatively quiet, away from the road enough.

The room was clean. The sliding glass doors to the parking lot serve as a "motel-style" model which is very helpful to get things out of your vehicle and to take your dog out. Room did have refrig and microwave. Coffee is available in the lobby at all times. This would be a properly priced hotel at $79, not $119,
Cons:
Every thing is old, tired and in need of an update. There is no easy chair, just desk chairs. The TV and reception was something from the 90s. There is no bedside reading lamp. The A/C was like a jet engine cycling all night. The toilet was one of the low risers, so be prepared for some deep knee bends.

Please stop lying to people the rooms are not even close to what you advertised. All I needed is a bed to rest after many hours driving, the recepcionist gane this room so far from the entrance in second floor, when got to room, it was not done yet, the toilet was so disgusting, obviously they are not cleaning keeping people safe from covid, had to go back to recepcionist to complaint all they said is sorry the lady forgot to clean, they gave me another room even further than the other one. Here smells so bad and the lady does not want to give me another room. Is the worse hotel ever.

The fact the entire place is under renos should clearly be advertised before booking. I booked via Expedia and it did not say this anywhere. When we got to our room, the tv didn't work, the sliding door which was suppose to open was stuck and broken shut, so we didn't have fresh air. The toilet ran all night. The parking lot was (thankfully plowed) at 3am mind you til 3:30am and whoever was plowing had blaring music that you could hear right in our room as it was a cold winter night. The room wasn't very well cleaned, linens were great, floors were disgusting. Even the bedside lamp was filthy. We were put (for who knows what reason as it was not busy at all) right beside the laundry room. Staff yelling at eachother about personal issues, doors slamming, you could even hear the washer/dryer on it was just lousy. For a few bucks more, go elsewhere. Breakfast was terrible, it was made perfectly, unfortunately, what was made should't pass as food... no fresh fruit, thankfully the poor employee Todd made our morning. He was fabulous, but he was truly the only thing that was.

I recently stayed one night. Was shocked at the price, was about 50 more than website said. Hallway has had repairs started, from chips in muddling I’d guess it’s been a while, maybe months. Room was ok, not great. Breakfast had hot bacon, egg patties and undercooked potato hash browns. I couldn’t access the rest because a hockey team or two was all over the area.

Visited Peterborough for 3 days for work. Stayed at the Quality Inn during that period. It looks like they have started serving breakfast which was a huge bonus as no one else in town was offering such an extensive selection. My room was clean, bed was comfortable, and stay was peaceful.

Stayed overnight in April, and I was pleasantly surprised by this budget hotel. I hadn’t booked in advance and was able to get a room by just showing up.
Check in took about 5 minutes, plus a 3 minute wait due to the folks ahead of me in line that were already part way through their check in.
The room was very clean, the beds were comfy, and we were able to adjust heating and cooling easily.
It was very quiet at night, no traffic or people sounds.
In the morning, the little continental breakfast was great! Lots of options: yogurt, oatmeal, cream of wheat. boiled eggs, fruits, breads, muffins, English muffins, jams and spreads, two types of sausage, bacon eggs, waffles, coffee, tea, juices and probably other things I’m forgetting.
The ambiance isn’t spectacular but I wouldn’t expect that in a budget hotel.
Everything was clean and the staff were all really nice.
Check out was even faster and easier than check in.
Perfect place for a quick overnight stop.

The check Inn is fast and check out in morning was done with receipt waiting for you . It was slid under door thru the night. Rooms were clean and updated. It was quiet, bed comfortable and room was CLEAN. The breakfast was awesome 3 meats , eggs toast , muffins, juice , coffee , tea and yogurt. Staff was friendly . A true gem in Peterborough.

I would give this one a 2.5. Check in was fast, looks like they have tried to update the hotel, carpets etc. We walked in our room and a bad smell smacked us in the face. My wife said it smelled like rotten hot dogs and it did not go away the whole weekend. Rooms are small but adequate, fridge, microwave. I think the smell theme was in the whole hotel, stairwell smelled like pee and hallways smelled like pot, hmmm. Breakfast was Ok but they should ditch the covid protocols and let people get their own breakfast. The servers did their best but if you forgot something you had to stand in line again. The location is good, plenty of restaurants near by. I was going to give a 2 but breakfast and location bumps to 2.5.

Yes, alcohol can be brought in. Each room that I have stayed in had its' own little fridge. Don't know about the bus schedule but the front desk staff is very helpful.
There are more places to choose from in the Peterborough area.
