Parking is free. Special event food was good for lunch & dinner. We had the buffet breakfast - what should be hot, was hot and the milk products were sitting on ice cubes - all good - like the tea selection too. We faced the road but didn't hear the traffic.
Overall a good hotel experience! Stayed here for a night. Breakfast in bed is always a nice experience. Major con is you HAVE to pay $5 to park your car here at the hotel (another money grab) but overall friendly staff and nice new beds in the rooms!
"chose an east facing room for the best view, of the river, although the few south facing rooms are nice too."
"Looking over the Trent Severn Waterway would be the best view (except in winter)."
"Riverview rooms are recommended."
"Ask for a room along the river."
"Ask for a room with a view and a balcony. It's worth it if you're staying more than one night, and it's not by the parking lot."
