We stayed two nights at The Gathering Place Sep 7-8, 2016, on our first visit to Pelee Island. We chose this B&B simply because it looked inviting and the reviews were all so strong. We arrived early on the 7th and were warmly greeted by Liz who took a half hour of her time to give us a sound orientation...

My husband and I stayed here for two nights last week and really enjoyed ourselves. Liz makes an excellent breakfast and both Liz and Vic really work hard to make their guests feel at home. It was rather hot and humid the first night, but when I mentioned it to Liz, she put the airconditioning on for the second night...

TGP is only about 1/2 mile from the ferry dock. Faces west for magnificent Lake Erie sunsets. Has its own small beach with many treasures for beach glass collectors! There is a long broad lawn leading to the lake with trademark red Adirondack chairs. A good size shed is available for storing bikes in case of rain. (Chances are Vic...

I could write all day about how great this place is but I'll sum in up by saying it's the absolute best B&B I've ever stayed at! Awesome hosts, breakfast, food, beach, etc. The island itself is the perfect venue to relax and unwind. We cycled the island, went on the Pelee Island winery tour, and enjoyed the many beaches.

What a lovely little trip to pelee island. We stayed at this guest house and were welcomed warmly and given so much information about the island that was incredibly useful and interesting. Rooms were clean, quaint and comfortable and we enjoyed our hosts company too. Breakfast was delicious beyond belief. We will be back!

This B&B was the best location. We pulled up some chairs on the front lawn, grabbed our drinks and enjoyed the view. Right across from the water. We watched the boats come and go. Liz and Vic were awesome hosts. We had 2 fantastic breakfasts (2 I had never had before). Comfortable and clean. Highly recommended.

The Gathering Place is a first-rate B&B in an idyllic location on Pelee Island. The hosts, Liz and Vik, made us feel at home immediately upon our arrival and throughout our stay. The breakfast was delicious and was made with fruits and vegetables grown on site. The accommodations were clean and comfortable with an en suite bathroom. We enjoyed our...

We spent two days in June here to get away from it all. Made the right choice by picking the Gathering Place. Liz and Vic are amazing hosts. They are fun, generous and know everything there is to know about the Island. Accommodations and food are excellent and the location could not be better. Will return for sure!

We ventured to Pelee Island to bike around the island and stay one night. The Gathering Place is the perfect spot. It is close to the ferry so we didn't need a car. It is,also, an easy walk to the bike rental spot but the real reason it is PERFECT is because the hosts, Liz and Vic, are so very...

Fantastic. Liz is a gem. You feel like you are staying with family. The room was lovely, the food was delicious, the location was perfect and thank you Felicia and Henry for your comment. I would return in a heartbeat and have already referred Liz and her home to 2 families. The screened in front porch was perfect for enjoying...
