Place is clean, AC is good, sheets and towels are clean, WiFi and cable TV inside our 2-room unit (1 queen size bed per room). Only thing I didn't like are rooms don't have some forms of sound insulation or proofing. Guests coming in late or noisy ones can really wake you up at night or morning. Location wise, this... More

A reasonable price for Ottawa and a central location. However the rooms are basic & our beds weren't comfy, there was a funny smell in our room too. Our toilet was blocked but maintenance came quickly. The elevators were broken so we had to carry our bags up 4 floors. No utensils or crockery in the kitchen which made it... More

The room is like any campus residence and I compliment the housekeeping team that made the room really well. But the problem is the rude & incompetent staff. Expect NO courtesy and competence when dealing with the women behind the reception desk. They have Zero regard for seniors and people who may have just come from far and may want... More

Have stayed here as part of a group booking about five times. It was clean and cool ( very important if your visiting in July / August ). The accomadation is perfect when on a budget , central location means it's awesome for exploring this wonderful city.

Stayed here over Canada day long weekend as it was by far the most cost effective option in Downtown Ottawa. Not a far walk downtown but some of the neighborhoods along the way can be a bit shifty. Hotel was clean but sparse. Our room had a kitchen along with two separate bedrooms and a bathroom. Room was fine and... More

We were on our way to Canada day on parliament hill so it was a great location, but the beds were not very comfy and we found candy from the last people by one of the desks. Overall it was clean and convenient for one night. If you are looking for a longer stay I would recommend a different hotel.

Stayed here during the Congress of the Humanities at the University of Ottawa. Unbeatable location on campus - bit of a stroll to get anywhere else, but nothing too taxing. Service was okay, if a little slow. You get what you pay for in this location - it's a university hall of residence. Would I stay here if visiting the... More

While I am normally not a snob about aged hotels, provided that they are clean, reasonably priced, and comfortable - I am definitely going to be a snob about this particular hotel. Our first sense of foreboding came when we attempted to call the reception desk to enquire about arrival time, as we were travelling a long distance and an... More

Our daughter has been attending the University of Ottawa for the past 4 years and lives on campus throughout the year as she also works for the University part-time. Every time we visit, this is our place! Why pay more? This building was a Quality Hotel and the University purchased it for additional student accommodations... It has everything you need..... More

The accommodations were larger than a standard hotel room with 2 separate bedrooms and a small kitchen area. If you are looking for a luxury hotel room this isn't the place. If you need an inexpensive, very clean, well located place to stay, this is perfect. It was a little cold in one room due to the location of the... More
