We stayed in the lovely burgundy room, which has a deck with pleasant breezes. We enjoyed conversation with the innkeeper, especially hearing the history of the house. Breakfast was bountiful and delicious each morning of our stay.

We stayed at auberge the king Edward bed and breakfast for three nights. The host is super friendly and informative on where we should go and tour the city. The house and room is beautiful and very cultured. The breakfast was delicious. It is a highly recommend for anyone who is visiting Ottawa! Thank you for having us! :)

We stayed at Auberge The King Edward B&B for two nights while visiting Ottawa museums for a holiday. The Victorian House is gorgeous, beautifully decorated to the period while still maintaining a comfortable atmosphere. Parking is hidden in back, and Richard came out to guide us in and welcome us. He is very knowledgable about Ottawa sites, and drew a... More

The B&B is absolutely stunning on the inside, with a lovely whole-lawn flower garden in the front, and a lovely deck in the back. Our room was the Green Room, built in AC (modern with a remote), a stand-alone fan, bar fridge cleverly hidden in the wardrobe (I would have taken the wardrobe home if I could have fit it... More

This was my first time staying at a bed and breakfast. After reading all the reviews on trip advisor, I figured I could not go wrong with Auberge. And yet my expectations were exceeded! I had a wonderful time! The house is amazing and the decor is very ambient. Sunny, the dog, is an absolute delight; and Richard is very... More

This B&B was recommended to me by a friend who lives in Ottawa!! Most of who visit my friend do stay at King Edward B&B. Richard and Sunny welcomed me and I felt at home right away. This was my very first stay at a B&B and I have again booked to stay in 'my room' lol again in August... More

We had a fabulous visit to Ottawa especially thanks to Richard and Sunny. Richard's introduction to the city and what to see and do is exceptional. He manages to recommend just the right things no matter how many days and whether rainy or sunny. The rooms are well appointed, ours had a lovely back balcony, they are serviced daily thank... More

I went to Ottawa for a getaway and to run the half marathon. Richard is a wonderful host, he basically takes care of everything. If you want to go visit museums he will give you directions if you need them and if you need suggestions for what to visit he will help you with that also. He knew everything about... More

Richard and Sunny were warm, wonderful hosts. The house is spectacular, breakfasts are lovely, and the rooms reflect the character of the house. Close to all the action downtown, and walking distance from most spots. Richard familiarized us with the house, its amenities and history (and its rehabilitation) and is incredibly helpful with directions, suggestions, times to see things, etc.... More

Spent 5 nights here in April. Perfect walking distance to the main tourist attractions of Ottawa centre. The fresh croissants and muffins, fresh fruit salad ( and eggs if you wished) were delicious. We stayed in the yellow room. Even though it faces King Edward and a fire station, it was quiet at night. It has a nice balcony to... More
