We stayed from August 6-11th. Very close to everything. Definitely a home away from home. Excellent service. Room cleaned daily. The breakfasts every morning just got better and better. Very good value. Cindy was welcoming, helpful and we would highly recommend this B&B.

We have stayed in NOTL many tines but this was our first stay at the Orchid. This is a 20 minute walk or quick Uber to the main downtown street but is close to some nice restaurants and next door to the Sand Trap Pub. There is an on-site Asian restuarant called Ginger that is highly praised although we did not eat there. The rooms are spacious and clean, although nothing fancy. During the Memorial Day rates were about 60% of those at most other spots including the major hotels in the area. A very nice breakfast was included! We will definitely return! Cindy is a very pleasant and accommodating host.

We consider the Orchid Inn a home away from home, and it's always our first choice for short getaways from Toronto. The Inn is a very short (and beautiful!) walk down to the water, and the rooms themselves are cozy, clean, and quiet. The staff is warm and inviting, happy to share insights and must-sees. The restaurant in the Inn ("Ginger") has a delicious menu, a good wine list (lots of Niagara VQAs to choose from) and a friendly atmosphere. We are vegetarians, and the staff goes the extra mile both at breakfast and in the restaurant to accommodate and delight. One note: you'll likely want to drive into the downtown area to reserve your energy for window-shopping. We've walked along the water into town, but it's a bit of a hike. If you're looking for a win, you've found it.

Cindy was a wonderful host, from the booking to the payment, she was first class all the way. I booked 5 rooms for 10 guests and Cindy was very flexible and provided us with great rates for our stay. The rooms were comfortable, nothing too fancy, the heat was a bit erratic but overall and for the price, great accommodations. We were within walking distance to the downtown core, even in winter, it was fine to leave the car behind and a nice walk into the core. Breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. The best surprise was the dinner, we ended up at the restaurant on our first evening and the service was great and the meal exceptional. Overall a great inn for a stay in the very pricey NOTL area.
