We would like to welcome you to Niagara-on-the-Lake and to our bed and breakfast where we serve a fresh hot breakfast each morning. We sit on the edge of Ravine Winery (walk out my back yard into the vineyards and follow them to the restaurant and winery). Also in the area Chateau Des Charmes winery & Colanari. Both are just a km away - just a few of the many wineries the region has to offer. Niagara Falls is a 15 minute drive. Enjoy the Gardens, or do as we do have a coffee/wine on the porch and watch the cyclists go by. We are located on a popular cycling route. Breakfast is served in the elegant dining room & consists of Fresh eggs and items from my garden when in season. We are a short drive (10 minutes) to Niagara Falls (Maid of the Mist, Buttery Fly Avery) or to Old Town with the great shopping and the Shaw Theatre. Wine tours can be arranged. Non smoking house but there is a table away from the house with ashtrays. Pets are not allowed - I cannot change it on the listing.

Detailed Reviews
Trish and her partner are wonderful people. So hospitable and warm! The room was cozy and welcoming with fresh white sheets on the beds. The breakfast was delicious. Trish's zucchini bread and scones was so good. It's so nice to know that there is a kettle with a variety of teas to access during the day. The vineyards in the back were a delight to wake up to as was the rooster.... Her location is prime in that you are able to get to Niagara on the Lake Old Town on the bike path, lots of hiking trails too, and wineries all around.
Ravina Winery was a very short walk. I suggest that you make reservations for dinner. There is live music while you dine and enjoy the ambience of the evening. Enjoy!!

Fabulous experience staying at the Green Oaks B & B! Beautiful grounds and oh so charming home with wonderful hosts, Trish and Norm! 2 night stay with my husband and sister and brother-in-law went smoothly. We had the smaller bedroom facing the vineyard in back with a very large private bathroom just across the hall. Quiet and comfortable air conditioning and very nice comfy bed! The full breakfasts were absolutely gorgeous with everything fresh and all homemade and locally grown, including the eggs which come from their flock of chickens! Over our 2 mornings we devoured scones, fresh fruit, fresh squeezed orange juice, eggs Benedict, banana nut muffins, apple pancakes, home fries, bacon and pea meal bacon….all very delicious and well presented. Nicely located in a quiet area, close to The Old Town by car, with wineries and fruit stands all close by. We loved it so much, we’ve booked a 3-night stay for our anniversary next spring! We highly recommend!!!

Very comfortable, homey B&B a little off the beaten path from the center of Niagara on the Lake but easy to reach and extremely convenient for those interested in visiting the plethora of vineyards. We were warmly welcomed, cooked a fantastic breakfast and provided with interesting and helpful information about the house, surrounding area, restaurants and wineries. Highly recommend.

This me and my wife's second stay here and we highly recommend it. Trish is an amazing host. Very nice and accommodating. The B&B is in a beautiful old home, and the room is very clean and comfy. Trish also makes an incredible breakfast. This is also within walking distance to Ravine winery and just a few blocks away from the Grist. While it's a bit further from other wineries, it's well worth it to stay here, especially considering the very reasonable price. Thanks again for the stay and we look forward to coming back!

My first experience with this place was the owner being very helpful during a Covid situation where we had to cancel. She did her best to accommodate a change in schedule. After I reschedule we very much enjoyed our weekend. The house is extremely comfortable. Very clean and Lovely. The hostess has thought of everything. Everything is convenient and the breakfast is outstanding. I’ve never had such a wonderful, homemade breakfast. The location of the Inn is very convenient. It is wishing walking distance to a beautiful winery and some of the best restaurants in the city. However, a car is needed to go downtown. We found it to be very easy to park and thought the location was ideal because you were out of the crowds and a bit more remote, which we preferred. There is no need because coffee is offered, but should you desire to walk to a coffee shop you can as well as a small grocery store close by. We will be back each year and look forward to staying here.

+1
My mother and I stayed in the Rose cottage for two nights over Mother’s Day weekend and could not have been more pleased with our stay. The house and room were so charming and beautifully decorated, and we were especially thrilled with their gorgeous chickens. The BnB backs onto a vineyard and some chairs are set up looking onto it, which makes for a picturesque and perfectly Niagara view in the morning for a cup of coffee or in the evening for some reading. The owner was super friendly and made us feel right at home; we especially loved her dog, Kingsley, and it was a delight to see how he herded the chickens back into their coop. Breakfast was delicious and varied, especially the fresh eggs and apple pancake. Highly recommend staying here!

We had a wonderfull 3 nights at Trish's B&B. The house with the large inviting porch is very well situated. Trish provides for small welcomed extras (bottle of cold water, extra wine glasses, tips for our visit etc). The breakfasts we were served were exquisite.

Great room, ensuite facilities and lovely hosts. Comfy beds and airy rooms. Recommend for short or long stays in the area, just bring empty stomaches - breakfast is hearty and wholesome, all diets catered for.

Trish and Norm are the perfect hosts. We stayed with two other couples. We were greeted promptly, shown the grounds and our rooms. There are multiple spots to sit and talk, have a drink or just nap. Each morning Trish prepares a gourmet multicourse breakfast and takes care to match the experience to the dining requirements for each guest. Green Oaks is about a 10 minute drive through wine country to old town and 10 minutes to the Falls. A wonderful experience from the moment we arrived to when we sadly departed.

By far, the nicest B&B I have ever stayed at. Trish pays attention to every possible detail, making sure you have everything you could possibly need but all the extras like the handmade soap bars and home made jams and scones. Fabulous breakfast and gift to take home … delightful experience
