We spent five days exploring the area - Niagara Falls, Welland Canal, golfing, walking on the may paths and trails - and of course wonderful dining and wine tasting in the area. The B&B was comfy, warm, and welcoming with great breakfasts that kept us going all day!

I stayed at Green Oaks B&B to celebrate a relationship milestone. My partner and I arrived on Friday night and stayed throughout the weekend departing on Sunday. Our stay could not have been more lovely. On Friday we were welcomed by Trish, given some information about the area as well as local points of interest, and invited to make use... More

Trish was very welcoming to us and also gave us our space. Perfect host! The house is so charming with its original stain glass, beautiful wooden floors and antiques that were both gorgeous and comfortable. Incredible breakfast!

We came back to Green Oaks (2nd visit) because of the wonderful hostess Trish and her great breakfasts. We like to the older type house setting - it is clean, warm and welcoming. And we know we will have fresh eggs for breakfast as there are chickens roaming the grounds- so cool! The B&B is also situated beside Ravine Winery-... More

Stayed at the green oaks with 3 generations while attending a family wedding. Couldn't have asked for a better spot. The comfy sleeping, the fantastic breakfasts and use of the whole house was wonderful. The large porch was great for family meals.

My husband and I, along with his two brothers and their wives, took over Green Oaks B&B this past weekend and had a fantastic stay while attending the Trius Blues Fest! We were warmly welcomed first by several egg laying hens that roam free on the property (very quiet and entertaining...the did not bother us in the least), then by... More

We had friends of ours visiting from Australia. Spent two nights at Green Oaks bed n breakfast. Trish the owner was very welcoming and accomidating. The house had a comfortable feeling, and her breakfasts, different each day, were delicious. Great position for visiting both Niagara on the Lake and Niagara Falls, and a number of wineries.

We stayed at the Green Oaks because we were attending a jazz concert at the nearby Ravine Winery and had a delightful time at both places. The accommodation was comfortable, friendly and convienient to both our concert and the delights of nearby Niagara-on-the-Lake. Our breakfast, largely furnished by the resident hens, was excellent.

Owwner Trish was very welcoming and helpful and served a breakfast of superb quality and of a volume that kept you going to the following breakfast! Location is great for visiting Niagara and Niagara on the Lake and for a tour of the many wineries in the area.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
We would like to welcome you to Niagara-on-the-Lake and to our bed and breakfast. We sit on the edge of Ravine Winery (walk out my back yard into the vineyards and follow them to the restaurant/deli and winery). Also in the area Chateau Des Charmes winery and/Coyote Run Winery. Both are just a km away - just a few of the many wineries the region has to offer. Niagara Falls is a 15 minute drive. Enjoy the Gardens, or do as we do have a coffee/wine on the porch and watch the cyclists go by. We are located on a popular cycling route. We would love to welcome you with your pet however we have 2 cats that think they run the place. Lets talk about it before you bring your pets. For those with allergies, my cats are not allowed in the guest rooms, one is an outside one, the other well she just likes that I run a bed and breakfast. Smoking is not allowed in the house but please feel free to smoke on the porch or in the gardens. Please just remember to use ashtrays. We are a short drive (10 minutes) to Niagara Falls (and all the attractions - Maid of the Mist, Buttery Fly Avery) and to Old Town with the great shopping and the Shaw Theatre. Wine tours can be arranged. ... more   less
