We had a lovely 2 night stay at Applewood Hollow. The rooms were cozy, clean, and spacious with a deck and access to a beautiful yard. Jane really outdid herself on the breakfasts which were plentiful and delicious, and included fresh-baked goods. We enjoyed getting to know Jane. The countryside is beautiful. We will definitely go back.

My parents and I stayed at Jane's lovely bed & breakfast during a weekend trip to Niagara-on-the-Lake. We couldn't recommend her place more highly. The two-story room was spacious and well decorated, with a lovely outdoor patio and plenty of privacy. It was perfect for three people, with two in the loft upstairs and one on the comfortable sofabed on... More

I just had the occasion to stay at Applewood Hollow and cannot recommend it highly enough. Upon arrival we were greeted by a huge garden to walk through with herbs sunflowers and hydrangeas and more. THe chickens were clucking in their pen laying eggs for our fabulous brekfasts daily...frittata, scrambled etc. breakfast at nine was sumptuous and the perfect start... More

We have just returned home from a wonderful weekend in NOTL and were fortunate to stay at Applewood Hollow. We stayed in the Sumac room and loved having our own patio and sitting room and a shared kitchen space with other B&B's. Breakfast on both days was amazing and Jane makes everyone feel comfortable and well cared for. Jane was... More

I've been wanting to stay at Applewood Hollow for a while now. Last weekend we were able to secure a reservation. We stayed in the Sumac room. Lovely room, wonderful sitting outside in the garden with a glass of wine, delicious breakfasts.

This was our first visit to Niagara-on-the-Lake, but it won't be the last, thanks to Jane. Designed as a B&B, it has everything you could possibly need and then some! Beautiful surroundings, private wooded backyard backing on to orchards and vineyards. The two-level in-door living space is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We stayed three nights and each breakfast was... More

Once again Jane proved herself The Perfect Host. Delicious food , friendly conversation , and excellent advice on where to go to eat and drink. Top it all off with a lovely walk through the forest and a wonderful nights sleep in a comfortable bed. I have stayed with Jane several times over the last 10 years and she never... More

My boyfriend and I stayed in the Sumac room during the Canada Day long weekend and had an amazing getaway! Jane and Brian were exceptionally hospitable and shared great knowledge of the area. When we first arrived Jane took the time to go through a map of the town and all the wineries to help us plan the perfect weekend.... More

We have stayed with Jane several times, and have had great experiences. The location is tucked away, just outside of old town but close to everything. The rooms are quaint, loft style with nice patios facing a wooded area. Jane is very knowledgeable and helped us find some hidden gem wineries. She also makes an amazing breakfast with local ingredients.

Jane was so warm and had a wealth of knowledge about the region to share. We loved her gorgeous garden, hens, back porch, and Jane's morning "spread" for breakfast, which included asparagus frittata, freshly baked croissants with homemade preserves, bacon, and cherry/rhubarb crisp. We will definitely return and we'll also encourage our friends and family to stay here when in... More
