Exceptional stay at the Harbour House. This is a small, boutique-type hotel with large rooms, fireplaces, whirlpool baths, plus an enclosed shower. Large windows allow for natural light. Hotel staff was superior--they were very responsive to our customized requests. Breakfast provided was outstanding. Location is superior, with the Old Town and access to the waterfront within steps.

Hotel's Favorite
From the moment we stepped into the hotel we were impressed. Every staff member we dealt with was professional, friendly, and accommodating. Our room was spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, quiet, and very comfortable. These are the things we expect when staying in a hotel. And this hotel delivered, well done. But really, it was the other things that set this hotel apart from others we have stayed at. A couple of cookies at check in, a souvenir shopping bag on the bed, wine glasses in the room, a wine and cheese reception (a nice way to meet some of the other guests), a shuttle service to the local restaurants so you can enjoy a beverage or three with supper, and a wonderful continental breakfast, among other things, made us wish we could have stayed longer. We will be back.

Clean, friendly, and we loved the breakfast, everyone very nice and kind. The room AC didn't cool our room so too warm to sleep well. We reported it and they were attentive to the issue but it didn't improve , still 77 degrees at night in the room, too warm. Other than this issue we loved the Harbour and we would recommend staying here

The Harbour House is a wonderful hotel. We felt like we were away from the rest of the world. A very comfortable and intimate experience. We were just a short walk to the Main Street, and close to shops and restaurants, but not too close. The breakfasts were lovely each morning.

I took my wife to Harbour House for her 50th birthday a week ago. I was hoping to make her extra special birthday very extra special, and the staff at Harbour House definitely made that happen. The front staff were especially friendly and helpful. I was upgraded to room 309, which is a suite. It’s one of the nicest rooms in their hotel. Nice view of the harbour too, with a nice seating area in the large bathroom, where the view was wonderful. All the amenities at this hotel are top of the line. The wine and cheese socials at 4pm were a real treat. Daniela was our host for these events, and she was very helpful, and friendly. The breakfast each morning was far superior to any continental breakfast you’d get at a standard hotel. Pastries, quiche, granola, and amazing coffee were just a few of the perks. Our upgrade offered us mimosas for breakfast too. The breakfast servers were so kind and helpful too. Sometimes the clientele at these high-end places can be a bit rude and entitled, but the staff made sure that everybody was treated nicely. This wasn’t a cheap getaway, but it was worth the price. My wife and I will definitely be staying at Harbour House again, hopefully sometime this winter. Perfect location; wonderful accommodations; 5 stars all around!

Very quiet and beautiful accommodation with a marine view. Staff are pleasant and welcoming. The shuttle to downtown is efficient. Close to all attractions yet set off in a quiet neighborhood. I have stayed here before and it doesn’t disappoint.

We were impressed with the hotel after our stay in April and we went back on May 12. On our first visit in April, we bought the Puppy Package and we loved it. The room is nice and a dog bed is setup for our furbaby. Our dog got a gift basket containing food, water bowl, a toy, treats and some poop bags. A dog sitter took care of our dog during dinner hours from 6-9. Their breakfast is very nice. Staff are very friendly and made you feel welcome. There are two EV chargers in the garage including a Tesla one. In our May visit, we didn't buy the puppy package but paid $25 CAD to bring our dog with us. We were pleasantly surprised that they still set up a bed, water& food bowl and have a bag of dog biscuits for our dog. The hotel is located right by the lake and is not far from the historical downtown area. We like to walk around but have a choice to be driven because there is free shuttle services offered. Highly recommend this hotel especially for their location, hospitality and dog welcome services!!!
