Amazing staff, very comfortable rooms and short distance to walk anywhere downtown. The best experience we have had in years. Highly recommend the Harbour Hotel NOTL. Staff is very knowledgeable, with Ivy as a personal conceire is only a text away
A traditional hotel; some nice decor, some quite old fashioned. Rooms could do with a refresh and better lighting. Toiletries poor (no shower gel). Pleased to be able to access room immediately on (early) arrival. Reception not particularly helpful - before arrival offered only an expensive limousine recommendation for transport, and after checking out they couldn’t provide us with any wifi service to enable us to arrange transport back to the airport. Breakfast a simple buffet, not great. Location about 10 mins walk to town, by the harbour (which is gated so no public access) and close to lakeside paths. Best service was the evening shuttle to/from local restaurants, provided by Alison who was the most friendly and helpful of the hotel staff.
We stayed for 2 nights in a first floor room . The room was large and extremely comfortable. We enjoyed the cheese and wine treat on our first night. Allyson the host was welcoming and interesting to chat to. We booked the wine trolley tour via the hotel. Pickup was across at the Queen’s landing hotel , We were a mixed group of 19 from several hotels Breakfast at the hotel was lovely : Quant and cosy A cooked dessert dish with maple syrup each day Plenty of bread & bagels to toast . Definitely a lovely quiet place to stay but in easy walking distance of the town. Shuttle service available in the evening if needed.
The hotel is located outside of the hustle and bustle of downtown Niagara-on-the-Lake, in a very tranquil location with plenty of parking. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxing couples getaway. Our room was cozy with a comfortable king-sized mattress and nice furnishings. The espresso pods in the suite were also complimentary, along with a more generous continental breakfast than you find in many hotels. Overall, I would highly recommend the Harbour House, especially if you’re visiting by car.
Harbour House was a very nice stay. Very clean and professional staff that set a high standard for hospitality at an Inn. And the breakfasts were wonderful--try to have the warm berry compote--it is exceptional!
Great location and easy walking distance to the main streets for shopping and dining as well as to the fort. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. The shower is fantastic! European breakfast was delicious and the wine & cheese a nice afternoon treat. Parking is on site and some covered spaces available. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Definitely will return!
Our room was at the second floor, large and comfortable with view on the marina. The staff was available if necessary and very nice. The breakfast was delicious. The acces to a covered parking was appréciated with the access to the elevator. A highly recommandable inn.
We stayed there just one night, had a room on the ground floor, which was fine. Parking is easy enough, was really quite impressed with the staff, their friendly faces, and willingness to help. The room fairly large, was clean no problems there at all. We booked one of the packages ... dinner at Zees was excellent, and appreciated the ride down there too. All things in the room worked well, it was hot , our air was fine. No issues with anything at all. Bed was comfie, quite important. All in all a nice quiet stay. Breakfast was vast... something for everyone, no hot items, but they managed to include all food groups, and looks like they did a wonderful job of the pastries etc. avoided by keto girl .
Two Star Property at Best. This hotel is marketed as Niagaras finest and priced accordingly however it is at best a two star property. The Good: staff were very friendly and the bed was comfy The Bad: - Not providing room cleaning and service of any kind during a three night four day stay is really unacceptable even in a post COVID environment. Furthermore there was no mention on check in that service would not be provided or when Hotel was booked. Staff did not wear masks and restaurant seating wasn’t limited So i makes you wonder what is the real reason for no service; because it is easier and cheaper? - the air conditioner in the room didnt work properly. Mentioned this to the staff on the very first morning yet there was no follow up. - little to no hot water first thing in the morning - knob on the hot water tap fell off repeatedly. - very limited places to plug electronics in - breakfast was provided but it was the same thing everyday…
An absolute jewel! It's tucked away from the main street in a lovely corner of NOTL. It is only a 5 min walk to the main street or 5 min walk to the lake. The inn itself was so charming. Our room was spotless and quite comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and wine hour was a bonus! The staff were also very nice. Will definitely book again.
