This was my first experience with a Bed and Breakfast and it will not be my last. I felt I was a welcome guest in a country cottage with an old friend. I felt welcome, safe, comfortable and so very much at home in a place I had never been.

My friend and I spent two nights at the Stewart House while enjoying the Shaw Festival and the local restaurants. The owner, Jean, was extremely friendly and very helpful. The breakfasts were delicious and different each day. We especially enjoyed the fresh fruit and the fact that Jean made special food for someone with a food allergies. I would definitely...

The Stewart House is a cozy 2 bedroom B&B and Jeanne, the innkeeper, is very accommodating. The room was comfy for two people and the bathroom was spacious. My preference is to have two bath towels per person in the room, but that was resolved by asking. Jeanne serves a hearty breakfast.

Jean recommended some excellent restaurants. She is lovely and her breakfasts, despite being calorific, are thoughtfully served and tasty. We stayed in the Brock Room...

I have stayed at the beautiful Stewart House on many occasions and every time was fabulous. This B&B is an historical home renovated to perfection; still retaining all its incredible charm. The large comfortable veranda in the front of the home is magical to sit awhile; enjoying the lovely tree lined street, gorgeous flowers and birds singing. I just love...

My boyfriend and I stayed one night at the Stewart house for a little New Years Eve getaway. We could not have asked for a better stay and evening! We booked the Laura Secord room which was perfect with a comfy Queen sized bed, high ceilings, and large, clean ensuite bathroom. The house is actually a cultural heritage house built...
