    Short stay but long memories.
Had a great time at Pillar and Post August 10. Room was clean updated and large. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We ate lunch at Vintages and dinner in the main dining room. Both meals were served hot and fresh and service was great. Our only regret was that we didn't have enough time to stay more than the one night. There's always next time. We have had the pleasure of staying at the Pillar and Post a few years ago and enjoyed it. This time met all expectations !! We were there with 10 other friends and we were able to explore downtown Niagara on the Lake and had a tour at the Wayne Gretzky Winery. Both are worth the visit.
Dear Peter B, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review of your recent stay at the Pillar and Post. It is great to hear that this return visit met all expectations and you have lasting memories of a most enjoyable time. It's such a compliment that your only regret was that the stay was too short! We hope to see you again, possibly for a longer stay next time! Kindest Regards, Mandi Blair Guest Service Manager Pillar and Post Inn & Spa

Best way to ring in the new year!
We spent New Year’s Eve at the Pillar and Post and absolutely loved every second. It was the best way to end off 2019 and ring in 2020! The indoor pool, sauna, and hot springs are especially nice and well maintained and the quiet area near the spa is so relaxing you can easily spend hours there by the fireplace. Staff was extremely helpful in helping us find some late night food places open on New Years Eve and even had their own shuttle to drop us off and pick us up. Next time I will definitely book a spa treatment or two and stay more than one night!! The rooms were large and also had a fireplace, couch, tv, and the bed was unbelievably comfortable!!! It truly felt like a home away from home. To finish it off, on the next morning we enjoyed a delicious a la carte breakfast at the Cannery. Vintage hotels are the best of the best if you’re looking for quality, professionalism, and a high class experience! I mean the Queen stayed there after all!
Hello Briana, I am thrilled to see you spent the new years with us! The tranquility found in the spa is carried throughout our resort and reflected by our staff. Our bedding is a favorite among our guests. So much so we offer it in our gift shop and our retail location at Clippings Floral Design. Just a piece of The Pillar and Post you can bring home to enjoy. All the best this new year! Marc

    A perfectly splendid experience
We have travelled a lot. We are very particular about where we stay when we head somewhere, regardless of whether it is business or pleasure. Hands down, The Pillar and Post was the most perfectly splendid experience we have ever had. It goes without saying that the aesthetic of this stunning property is legendary. Sprawling greenery and gardens, old courtyards, winding pathways, and perfectly appointed classic rooms play to the old world charm. Their safety measures in the ‘new normal’ were extremely comforting and well managed, and cleanliness was obviously paramount. Both pools were never busy and monitored well, and the indoor lounges were comfortable as inviting. The service - spectacular. From check-in to check out, it was professional, warm and very appreciated. Stephanie was the most incredible, hard working server we had ever met and they all seemed as dutiful and intent to please. The food at The Cannery was also top notch, as the menu elevated old classics and brought new ideas to a rustic yet elegant venue. We will return again and again.
Hello Tiana, Thank you so much for your fantastic review! Our gardens have bloomed beautifully once again this year. The Pillar and Post inn and Spa is wrapped around a beautiful courtyard and rose garden, we are also situated across the street from The Commons (a beautiful park with bike and walking paths). We have taken many new measures to ensure a clean and safe environment for all of our guests. For more details on how we are keeping our guests safe during these times please visit our website! Thank you again for visiting us!

Of all the options you have in NOTL, don't overlook this property. The staff are welcoming and attentive, the hotel and rooms themselves are clean and well appointed. The location is wonderful, with just a short walk to Queen St. with its shops, restaurants and parks. They even provide a complimentary shuttle. I highly recommend their trolley wine tour, and don't overlook their private, gated garden across the street. I did not get a chance to experience their bar, but the Cannery Restaurant is a wonderful culinary experience.

My husband and I spent our one year anniversary at Pillar and Post. The spa area was very clean, and calming. Our RMTs were amazing. We booked the hot springs and the atmosphere and ambience speaks for itself. Will definitely go again.

This was our second time staying at Pillar & Post and we will definitely be back soon! Service is always friendly and welcoming. We had an amazing dinner at the cannery. We enjoyed the hot springs in the morning. We stayed for our anniversary and made use of all the great amenities including walking through the gardens. There was a bit of a mix up with our reservation as we had booked one night online for a package that included dinner and then booked for an additional night over the phone without the package just the hotel room. But when we called to confirm the reservation a few days before our stay they only had the one night booked in the system and were not able to accommodate us for the second night. We would have loved to stay 2 nights like we had planned so that we could have done more exploring around NOTL but we really did enjoy our nights stay and will be back. We are posting 2 photos from our trip to enter the giveaway posted at the front lobby for a night getaway.

Fantastic stay at The Pillar and Post (despite the brutal temps!!). This is our favourite vintage hotel by far. We parked our vehicle and didn’t have to move it for 3 days. Walking distance to all shopping and dining in the downtown area. Gorgeous gardens to walk through, with seating and a walk up bar. The Cannery restaurant was exceptional. Top notch dining! Beautiful spa and outdoor pool with manicured grounds. We will be going back.
