Hello friends I hope you are all keeping healthy during these challenging times. I decided to write once again on the Trip advisor, as I have been going to Queen's Landing for many years as my first trip was with my late Mother and the love affair with Niagara- on- the- lake and the pristine Queen's Landing has gone on and on even after my Mother's passing. I have to tell ya friends ,this Oasis I believe; truly has been barely effected by the Pandemic. I was able to stay for four days as the hotel just opened up for weekdays and I had one of my most relaxing enjoyable times ever!! I also really enjoy going around the fall time as the leaves are starting to show beautiful color and the bike(zoom rentals) and trail paths along the Gorge are wonderful. Some wineries opened up and my favorite Rief couldn't do enough for me The thing that truly stands out to me at Queen's Landing, is how the staff though challenged with masks and constantly cleaning and sanitizing everywhere and even though they had limited staff, I felt very little difference from the norm . I was welcomed by Frank , the Bell Captain, who was wearing different hats throughout my stay( always a favourite) and Lily, General manager of Queen's Landing was available on a on-going basis and I always witness her professional personable style all around from the patrons number one, to her staff it feels like a family atmosphere. Everyone in the Tiara were balancing duties and though we as patrons knew there is a pandemic; as I looked around at the various patrons, I could tell we were all sending silent messages into the abyss that only summed up how pleasurable and clean everything was and how precious we all felt because the regular stars like Arthur and Gerry at breakfast and Rose in Tiara at night for dinner, holding court at her section, making everyone feel comfortable and Rudi at the other end and all the stars who work in Tiara .The gifted house sommelier Shelly sailing from one table to the next, educating us all on delicious wines and making us feel as though we were in this gigantic living room being entertained by the heavyweights that definitely in my opinion ,reach beyond the call of duty. Everyone who works at Queen's Landing gives the utmost care and gentleness throughout our stay there. It is amazing to me every time I visit. Yes friends, if you need a little get-away from the normal 'new world' we are living in take a little trip to Niagara--on- the Lake and book into Queen's Landing so you can feel human again for a few days and spoiled like you deserve to feel. . This is the time we need it the most.So on your return back to your lives in these krazy times, it is a little less challenging cause you felt normal and spoiled for a few days . Like that expression...'.There's no time like the present.' Cheers!

Hotel's Favorite
We just returned home from an exceptional trip to Queens Landing at Niagara-on-the-Lake. The building and grounds were exceptionally clean and decorated beautifully for Christmas. The staff were professional and attentive without being overbearing. The bed was oh so very comfortable as were the chairs! Fireplaces in the restaurant and guest rooms were a beautiful touch to add ambiance. My ONLY constructive feedback would be lack of microwave to pop some popcorn in the evening or to heat water for tea or hot chocolate for those who don’t like coffee. There was a pod coffee maker in the room which was great. The library was a lovely place to sit and read after breakfast. A nice short walk into town was the perfect walking distance to stretch your legs, however the free shuttle service would have taken us there in a heartbeat. The one day we were going to walk up to the Shaw for a performance. It was rather windy so the shuttle driver offered to take us up even though it would have been a very short walk. He was quick and courteous. We were at the front door within minutes. All of the staff were gracious and friendly. We felt very welcome and they all commented that they hoped to see us back. Obvious great training on the part of Vintage Hotels. Many of the staff have been there 10, 25, 30 years so obviously they treat their staff well. That’s what I like to see!! They all were very happy and friendly. We’ll most definitely be back!

Hello Randy! What a great post here on TripAdvisor. It truly was a pleasure to read and we were so pleased to hear it was such an exceptional stay! We appreciate your thoughts on the use of a microwave oven - for future stays, our room service department would be pleased to pop your corn for you using the one we have in kitchen. We also have kettles available upon request for your in-room use. It sounds like the staff made a great impression on you for their service - and you are right - many of our teams members are long term employees who truly enjoy working here! Some staff have been with us since the day we opened - 30 years ago! Please do come and see us again and thank you for your 5 star post! Sincerely, Lily Kszan General Manager

We stayed two nights with our 4 kids (adults and teenagers) and absolutely loved the Queen’s Landing!!! All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We had one standard room and one suite, to say the least they were huge! Very clean and beautifully decorated. The staff even helped find a room we could store all our bikes in, so we would not ha e to leave them locked up outside!! We all had breakfast included with our stay and it is not your normal hotel breakfast buffet! It was a beautiful sit down meal with lots of delicious options. We all had such a great time, the wife and I have already booked a stay at their sister hotel , Prince of Wales for our 30 year anniversary in a couple of weeks. Can’t wait.

I wanted a romantic weekend getaway so I booked the "escape to the wine country" package with breakfast and dinner at the Tiara Restaurant included in the package. To my surpise, there was no table prebooked for our dinner and they were all booked up when we arrived. There was no instructions to pre book a table, else we would have done so. We were told that there was nothing they could do for us, even though we booked a package that included dinner. That makes absolutely no sense and then we were stuck looking for a new place last minute to eat dinner. We recieved no call from the supervisor even though we were told they would call. I asked the front desk again what they can do for us and they told me lunch would be the next best thing. When I asked what the other alternative was, she told me that was the alternative. Not what I expected. We also received no housekeeping over the 2 nights we stayed because of their COVID policies. I wasn't told this upon check-in so I was surprised to see no fresh towels and an unclean bed. I receive no apologies and I had to ask twice for fresh towels. Not the getaway I was expecting.
