Was at the casino for 2 days over New years. The most people I have seen there in a long time. Good vibe but unfortunately the slots are poor as most of you reading this know since OLG privatized the casinos the play experience has gone to the gutters. Not sure what it's with the land base. The reward system sucks as you have to keep it up every few months. Not Like it used to be when it was just 3 levels and when you reached a certain level you stayed for a year as you earned it and not to mention the poor RTP most slots are programmed to today like 85 or 88% online PLEASE!!! read up on RTP RTP RTP Please until land base brings back fun and fairness you are better off playing online. If you like going to Vegas you're are better off playing Betmgm or Caeser online casinos the comps are amazing and they have much better jackpots. I've had a free trip offered to Atlantic City all-expense paid and I'm at level 1. Food and slot credits and free hotels even at Caesers in Windsor and you can choose free rooms for the weekend not like most of the time at Fallsview you only can choose weekdays. Not sure about you but I'm sure a lot of players can not take up the free room offers as they work during the week. I have said in the past that playing land-based play at Fallsview and Niagra as there much better than the one run by Great Canadian but this doesn't mean they're the best when it comes to casinos. I love playing land base because of the energy and in-person playing but the way the house edge has been made out to be taken away jackpots and comps and overcharging for services and food is becoming a big turn off and putting in gimmick slots that only have tiny jackpots or I should say so-called jackpots. $200 or $300 is not a jackpot. Service is poor every time I go to a casino. over the 2 days not once while playing slots was asked if I wanted to get a drink. On our 2nd day, we drove to Seneca for 1/2 day I was there for 2 min and was offered a free drink and it seemed like every 5 min a server was asking if anyone wanted a drink. Now, that's the way it should be. Not sure why casinos in Canada can't get their heads wrapped around that good customer service and comps go a long way.…
My wife and I had a corner room on level 18 for our first stay at this hotel. Unfortunately, due to the damp, overcast weather the view of the falls was obliterated by the spray from the falls. The room was clean, very spacious and at a pleasant temperature. The bed exceedingly comfortable. The Keurig coffee that was provided in the room left a little to be desired. The room would benefit from having USB-C sockets available that would make charging phones, tablets and laptops easier. The bathroom was clean and spacious. Wifi was good but the tv guide appeared to be out of synch with the programs at the time. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again when next in the area.
This is a great place to escape for a weekend. Live shows, great restaurants. Always something to do in Niagara and you can always find ways to be busy. The casino is the place to have fun and enjoy a drink with friends and family !!!
You would think they would bend over backwards to accommodate guests and gamblers after Covid. NOT. We used to visit Fallsview every couple of weeks before Covid, but not now. The restaurants, especially the Grand Buffet have increased prices. The Grand Buffet is now in the $50 range. Ridiculous. Other than a great view, the food is pretty hohum. For $50 in Vegas, even with the $ exchange, is like night and day different. While dropping $80 in 2hrs on the slots, I was charged $2.50 for a bottle of water. Water and soft drinks used to be free. Parking is no longer free, regardless how much you gamble, unless you have a certain level of reward card. For the few times we have taken the Safeway Casino bus instead of driving, we found it is also much more expensive. Now $40, though you get $40 play credit. Also, much of the staff on the casino floor and restaurants seem very miserable. Were they making more money sitting at home on government assistance? Seems so. It really appears to be run in a government manner rather than by free enterprise. Who cares how many visitors we have....if we run short....we'll just raise your taxes. All in all, I don't think we will be visiting this place as often, if at all.…
Went for 3 days for our anniversary. Everything from arrival to checkout was fantastic. The lobby is huge, very open, clean and the fountain was decked out for fall and Thanksgiving. There are also many stores and a food court in the hotel. The check in process was very smooth and the staff were more than helpful. We had a Diplomat Superior falls view room on the 22nd floor which was on the end/corner of the building. When we entered the room it was jaw dropping to say the least. From the one window we could see the Canadian Falls and the other window the American Falls. The bathroom was huge with a whirlpool tub and separate shower also with a view of the American Falls, Clifton Hill and the Skylon Tower. At night we would turn the chairs around and just look out the window at the illuminated falls. We could also see the fireworks from the other window (American falls side) each night. A special shout out to Leah and the front desk staff for the lovely anniversary gift that was delivered to our room by Leah. It was a surprise and very appreciated. The staff was always there to help with a smile on their face. Our stay was way beyond expectations and the Niagara Falls blew us away. We would recommend this hotel 100% and a trip to the falls should probably be a must. We are still in awe over the view from our room and will always remember this trip.…
Ok...I get it. It's a casino and everyone knows the house always win. But when you go in and drop $100 in a slot machine and within 5 mins, you're done...come on. These slots are so tight and the drinks are outrageously priced. Customer service is out the door - no one is smiling or friendly...all the staff look totally miserable. Prior to the pandemic, this was a fun spot. Now...just sad. Save your money and don't bother going here.
We reserved for 3 nights. We were very pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. Our room had a fantastic view of the falls and nightly fireworks. Maid service, room service, and restaurants were all great, especially Jamesons. The casino had a great variety of slots. We were delighted with our stay
My husband and I spent a 2 night stay at this resort midweek. The parking garage is very accessible from either Fallsview Avenue or Murray Street. We found plenty of available spots and right near the elevators too. Very convenient parking right on hotel property as this isnt always the case at Niagara hotels. Taking a quick elevator ride from level 5 to the lobby and the WOW factor hits you as soon as you exit the elevator. Stunning lobby with a fountain feature that is decorated from season to season. The cleanliness of all the public areas was spot on. There was no litter anywhere and cleaners were constantly seen wiping and sweeping around the hotel. From here you see the entrance to the casino, spa and hotel and the Galleria shops. On a side note a new restaurant opened while we were there called Jameson's just off the front lobby. We had breakfast there our last morning and it was their first breakfast service. They did a marvelous job during our breakfast, you would never have known it was their first breakfast service. Food was excellent. We arrived at 1pm and Janet checked us in. What a jewel this lady was. She wished us a happy anniversary right off the bat and told us our room is ready. She gave us a run down of the hotel facilities and best places to shop and eat. She was very friendly and extremely helpful. She gave us a ticket with in and out parking priviledges for our entire stay. Than at check out we were told to use the same ticket to leave. We got free parking for our entire three day stay. That was a nice touch. In fact every employee we encountered during our stay was very nice, always saying good morning to us or hello. We entered our room on the 23rd floor and it was jaw dropping. The room was spotless and just a lovely suite. We reserved the diplomat superior view suite and the view out of the windows was SPECTACULAR. Like I said jaw dropping. Clear direct views of both falls. Views of New York as far as the eye can see, Clifton hill and the Skylon Tower on one side and the power station on the other. Diplomat suites are located on the contours of the hotel so, you are actually getting a corner suite. At night the views were just outstanding. Between the falls illuminations and the fireworks we felt we had a front row seat to the nest show in Niagara Falls. Even our bathroom had a spectacular view of fhe American Falls, Clifton Hill and the Skylon Tower. We had a whirlpool bath with a view. Shower had good pressure with plenty of hot water. Dispensers of hand soap, hair and body soap and body lotion was provided in the bathroom. Hair dryer, iron/ironing board were also in the closet. Two robes and slippers were included as well. There was a safe and a Keurig coffee maker as well. We had a king size bed that was extremely comfortable with crisp white sheets. When sleeping you heard no outside noise, your neighbours or hall noise. You could almost hear a pin drop at night except for the low hum of the air conditioner which worked very well. We had a small cooler that was perfect for water and soft drinks. Kept everything cold. Everything was spotless and worked perfectly. We had house keeping service every day. Fresh towels everyday and fresh sheets every night. We couldnt fault the room in any way. Comfortable and just spectacular views. We ate several times at the hotel food court. We ate like I mentioned at Jameson's and every meal we had at the Fallsview was great. No complaints. We got a slice of cake from the Cake Boss vending machine. That was a fun experience and the cake was quite good. We had gelato and a couple of bags of kernels popcorn. Again all very good. We ordered room service one afternoon for a snack and it came within 40 minutes hot and very good. We spent a couple of hours at the casino after we signed up for our momentum cards. We are not gamblers by nature so we played the slots for awhile and than sat down to have a couple of drinks and people watch. Casino is stunning and the central bar area was beautiful. Bartender was very pleasant. All staff we encountered in the casino were very nice. We recommend this hotel 100%. Its situated perfectly for the best views of the falls. It's also walking distance to Clifton Hill and other attractions and restaurants. We even were able to walk to the Power Station thanks to the close proximity to the incline railway. That railway saves you alot of walking when going down to table rock and getting a close up look at the falls. Consider this hotel when staying in Niagara Falls. You will not be disappointed. It's truly an amazing hotel. We had a fantastic time there and we will never stay anywhere else when heading to Niagara Falls again.…
Beautiful hotel. First time stay. Clean. Rooms are so nice! Food is good. Plenty of walking. Room view was fabulous. Slept well. Fallsview does not disappoint! A little sight seeing, gamble if you must!
The Service is amazing from the Parking Valet to Concierge, the entire staff is very attentive. Can't beat the location. You MUST check out the NEW R5 Patio & Bar is a MUST! "Great vibe, great drinks, great atmosphere."
