    Perfectly pampered birthday stay!!
So happy to have spent my birthday at the Sheraton On the Falls Hotel! The perfect experience started right from check in... exceptional staff, friendly and professional. We arrived around noon and did not expect our Corner Fallsview Suite to be ready for check-in but it totally was and the check in was so smooth. We were on a casino package which included a $50 casino voucher to spend, $20 off at the spa, 2 comp drinks at lobby bar or Hard Rock Cafe, dinner discounts, wine tasting passes, the list goes on, truly great value and we took advantage of it all. I told the staff at check in it was my bday and they asked if I preferred white or red wine and a bottle was sent up to our room to enjoy. The corner view falls suite was such a treat -spacious, spectacular views of the falls and Clifton hill, and a balcony. I especially enjoyed the deep soaking tub that overlooks the falls...bring some bubble bath and enjoy a glass of wine and take in the views. I changed into the robes provided and headed to my bday spa appts, so conveniently located on site. The spa is gorgeous and it wasn't too busy being there the first week of Jan...they had brownies and a non alcoholic drink in a champagne flute for me to enjoy in between treatments, I was blown away by that extra effort. Nice touch Christienne Spa! Next was our comp drinks in the lobby bar, and onto dinner and the casino. The location of this hotel is prime, we didn't even have to go outside to access all of the amenities, including the Niagara Casino. I felt welcomed from the moment we arrived, and kudos to the check in staff for setting the stage for a wonderful, relaxing overnight stay. We are returning next week and bringing my parents for some more R & R.
Dear Cathy B, Thank you for choosing the Sheraton on the Falls Hotel for your overnight stay while celebrating your birthday. We are overjoyed to learn that from start to finish, your stay was nothing short of exceptional and that our team left a great impression. They work tirelessly to provide the best service, down to the smallest detail, and we will share your kind compliments with them. We are also happy to know you enjoyed your spacious Fallsview accommodations featuring state-of-the-art technology, large bathrooms, and the most comfortable beds as well as the amenities we offer including our restaurants, casino, and spa. It was a pleasure having you as our guest, and we can't wait to welcome you back next week with your family. Zach Guest Services

    Good Location
The best Hotel if the location is the only criteria. Having said that parking can get expensive. In itself, the Hotel does not have its own parking lot. Rather is using the parking shared with Casino Niagara and Crowne Plaza. Not a biggie but it adds to your journey. Good thing is that you can connect through going all indoor, which is not properly signaled but it is doable. The room had a view of the American side, a normal type of room. Nothing to note. The bathroom ceiling is ridiculously low, must be around 6ft. You do feel cramped in there. For all intents, it is a functional Hotel. Though it is not a 4 star based on modern amenities, as reception + the room makes it feel like a dated 3-star. Though the breakfast buffet and the next door Massimo Italian Restaurant, with spectacular Falls views remind us that sometimes you pay extra for the location and view. Would I ever go back? Not likely.
Dear patag0nturister, Thank you for being our guest at the Sheraton on the Falls Hotel. We are happy you liked your room with beautiful views of Niagara Falls, and our great location was perfect for your plans. However, we regret any inconvenience you had while parking and for not meeting all of your expectations. We appreciate your feedback and will share it with the appropriate individuals as we are always looking for ways to enhance our guest experience. We hope you will give us another chance to make a better impression. Zach Guest Services

On our anniversary, we did not have a great experience
My wife and I drove to Niagara Falls on the 29th of December for our anniversary. Upon arriving and checking in, we went to our room. The room was average, but the view was exemplary!!! A great vision of both Falls, and high enough to enjoy the sights. The check-in process is very flawed, it was slow and took almost 45 minutes from when we got in an EXTREMELY long line until we received our keys. In our room, we had no robes, slippers, or expected amenities. Although we had booked weeks in advance because it was our anniversary (which they acknowledged in our reservation) they failed to do anything special to make us feel welcome. I reminded them before we went to dinner at 8:30 PM and the front desk staff was caught off guard (apparently the anniversary note wasnt annotated) and said they could leave us a bottle of wine. I asked them to do it between 9 PM and 10 PM as we would be out and it would be a nice surprise when we got back. They said they would make sure it happen, yet upon our return at 11:30 there was nothing there. Instead, at 8:30 AM we were woken by a knock stating they had a bottle for us. I asked them to leave it at the door, and when I opened the door to get it there was only a bottle and a note.....no glasses or even a tray. This was something I had never experienced, and I was surprised that a hotel owned by Marriott would have such poor service. We enjoyed the view, but were very ready to leave this hotel early the next day. We had hoped, due to reviews, that our anniversary would have been met with better customer service. Be advised that, at least at this location, the great views are paired with substandard customer service.
Dear Mondohelmet, We appreciate staying at our hotel during this very special time and we thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We apologize for the frustration you experienced during our peak season, and we want to thank you for your patience. We are always looking for opportunities to improve our guest experience, so we are grateful for all of your feedback. We would also like to apologize for the service issues you encountered during your anniversary stay. Normally our staff does a terrific job of responding to our guests’ needs, and in your case, that did not happen. Rest assured that we take these reviews seriously and address them appropriately to help ensure we do not repeat mistakes. We hope you will consider giving us another chance so we can make this up to you the next time you are in the area. Take care and we wish you both another year of happiness. Safe travels. Room was clean and view was as advertised. A variety of dining options. I have only one complaint, I expect a full service hotel which provides an in room coffee maker, to actually provide and resupply coffee each day. It is inconvenient to have to call or text guest services for something so inexpensive and easy to provide. If your not resupplying coffee, say so up front on a card next to the coffee maker.

The location was great with a view of the falls and fireworks. Loved the Juliette balcony. We requested a falls view room but it's not guaranteed. We also had a fireplace in the room which was nice. The Sheraton also gives you complimentary passes for the WEGO bus good for 48 hrs. Which we used as there is a lot of walking. Summer months would be too warm for us walking around and odds of receiving a falls view room might be less during the summer. There is also a coffee machine with Starbucks coffee in your room with 2 complimentary bottles of water. Bathroom was nice and clean but our only issue was our toilet constantly running. We just shut the door as not to hear it! Don't think we would have enjoyed our stay if we had a city view of Clifton St. The room location was everything!

We chose a fallsview room, and it was so stunning. Each time we walked into the room, we would be amazed again. They do have some nice added free amenities. They give you a bus pass to get around the Niagra Falls area. Note-the hot tub and indoor pool are part of the 'Spa' and you have to make a reservation and they are not open in the evening. The rooftop bar has a great view of the falls as well. They have a great gym (although we looked, we were too tired from walking everywhere to use it).

Wow this hotel is a busy place, it’s like a mini Las Vegas! Big lines to check in at 4 pm and parking area very busy. We had a lovely check in with Mariam who assisted us and we were thrilled to receive an upgrade (Gold Marriott member) to the most fabulous room overlooking the falls with a Juliette balcony. We didn’t want to leave our room, the view was just incredible. Nightly fireworks at 10pm. Parking is expensive at $39 CAD + tax a night (self parking) but we parked 5 mins walk away in a lot for $23 CAD incl tax for 24 hrs with in/out access. There were 4 USB ports in the room and after calling maintenance found 3 to be broken. John however from maintenance was excellent and offered us some pull out plugs to use as we are from outside Canada. Our balcony door handle stopped functioning day two but maintenance replaced the handle whilst we were out. Lovely room on the 19th floor, modern decor, artificial flame fire on the wall and quiet. Inside pool quite stuffy but outdoor one lovely and warm. Outside jacuzzi empty of water so not sure what is happening there as no signage. An annoying thing and only criticism was you cannot access carts/trollies to take your own bags to/from the room, you must use bell man and thus tip expected. The only hotel in Niagara with falls views square and front. Probably the best room view experience I’ve had anywhere in the world. Great memory to cherish. Thank you and I would recommend you opt for falls view room for sure.

I paid $500 USD + resort fee for two nights for a high floor room overlooking Niagara Falls to celebrate my birthday. I want to note that no matter what you celebrate, the hotel will not give you absolutely any compliments, but I didn't expect them. I planned that I would fall asleep and wake up with views of the waterfalls. What did I get: a room on the 16th floor with a view of the park and parking lot. I woke up and looked at cars parking instead of Niagara Falls. I was completely disappointed and upset. It was not at all what I imagined and what I paid for. The waterfall could only be seen if I positioned myself near the window and looked to the left side. The room was not the cleanest. I came across long black hair everywhere, perhaps it was the hair of Housekeepers, whom I met on the hallway near my room. There were some stains on the sofa, so I wiped the entire sofa with a sanitizing napkin. The napkin was very dirty. The fan in the bathroom didn't work. Everything else was fine. There is also no microwave in the room. Free wi-fi. Parking at the hotel is very expensive, but you can find parking nearby for half the price. I believe that I definitely did not get what I paid for. I feel that I was deceived.

We stayed here for 2 days at the beginning of our holiday, we paid extra for a falls views room and it was worth it. The hotel was situated in a great area near the fun area with amusements restaurants etc and just a walk to where you can get the hornblower boat trip. There was an amazing lady called Anita who helped us with how to use wego bus and how to plan our day, she is a great asset to your hotel. The rooms were amazing, clean, spacious, comfy beds and great toiletries available. The rooftop bar is the perfect place to watch the fireworks with reasonably priced drinks

We chose this room for comfort and for the amazing view. Very busy hotel, I think we were near the beginning of the season, so there were reception staff training. The view, of course, was spectacular. Everything we needed was in the room, the bed was comfortable. My only negative is I felt the bedding was tired. Laundered but tired.

My little family of 4 stayed at the Sheraton Fallsview Hotel in Niagara Falls, Ontario for a weekend in July 2023. Hotel was lovely, clean and safe. We stayed in a bi-level loft; kids on 1 floor, parents on the other. Location was great. Walking distance to the Falls, restaurants and to Clifton Hill (a kids paradise ;) Busy place, but lots of staff behind the desk and walking around in the lobby ready to assist. Many elevators too! We ate at the buffet in the hotel and it was good. No complaints. We would stay here again.
