The Niagara Falls Marriott on the Falls impresses guests with its professional and friendly staff, though some have encountered service inconsistencies. While the majestic views and spacious rooms are appreciated, travelers note that additional fees, along with underwhelming amenities, may impact the perceived value of their stay. While rooms are commended for comfort and views, some guests express concerns over cleanliness and dated decor. The location is generally seen as favorable, but opinions on its centrality vary.

We arrived at the hotel with another couple on Saturday February 18 the hotel check in line was fairly busy,a family was checking in ahead of us,the service that the lady received was truly the worse ,rudeness, antagonistic I have ever witnessed .We heard and saw everything as we were all talking as we waited our turn .The lady who was checking the family in was one of the managers ,soon after she began with the normal questions she informed the lady that she booked 2 rooms ,when the guess explained ,politely ,calmly that after booking the original room she soon received an email from Marriott offering a discount so she called cancelled the first room and rebooked. In short the manager did everything she could to make this poor woman's experience a nightmare. She lectured her for at least 10.minutes,smiling ,rolling her eyes ,cutting her off smirking relentlessly. Her husband who was standing behind her with the daughter was as shocked as we all were to be witnessing what we were all seeing. At one point it became obvious that the manager goal was to get the guess so upset that she would have had a reason to refuse her service. The husband had tried to get the manager to stop by stating that she was entackanizin his wife and to please stop and just check us is and we will deal with the cancel room issue later. The manager simply continued to smirk talk ,lecture and toss 4 room keys on the counter with the biggest smile and added after she was asked why are you smiling so much as this is not funny I'm in the hospitality industry I always smile. It was beyond frustrating to have had to watch this unfold and to see just how the actions of one person was able to ruin a start of a long weekend for not just 1 family but 3 families. Later on we ran into the couple and told them that this review would be posted as we felt that the actions of the manger should not be untold.

Staff on reception were great tbh had a warm welcome and they gave us an amazing room and let's be honest it's all about the view isn't it? Only gripe we had was on our last night we had a young man just try and walk into our room ( luckily we had the catch across ) from room service to service our room this was 7pm on valentine's night. He was a scruffy looking young man with earphones in and after trying to persuade me to let him in to swap our towels continued to ask me if I speak English... ( For the record I was born in England and went to an English school and have English parents, English grandparents etc etc ) He was very rude and persistent so I kindly asked him to go away. I immediately went to reception and explained the situation ( nicely I will add for some of the reviews I read ) They were horrified and apologised uncontrollably ( Anastasia the young ladies name ) so I left it at that... I always try and see if I've had a bad experience how they handle it and 10 out of 10 for that. Will be back that's for sure and thanks for making our stay so great

For the Canadian leg of my holiday, I was fortunate enough to stay at Marriott on the Falls. None of the negatives were major, all incredibly minor niggles. All-in-all, I felt really well taken care of. Good - Excellent quality throughout. - The reception staff were astounding. Even remembered my name. - Complimentary Wego passes, with bus stop outside hotel. - Complimentary toiletries were amazing quality. - Coffee machine in rooms, with travel cups supplied. - Size & quality of the rooms, with separate dressing area. - Ice buckets & fridge with bottled water in rooms, ice machines in corridors. - Selection of in-hotel eateries. Not-so-good - Hotel food is rather overpriced. I mainly ordered in. - Trying to make a cup of tea, using a coffee machine. (Tasted most unpleasant). - The freezing mist as soon as you step out the door. (Only downside to being that close to the Falls). - A great deal of the city of Niagara Falls was closed. - As the hotel uses air-conditioning, and there was no way to get fresh air into the room, the air was always really dry. - The level of noise coming from other rooms. (Particularly the party in the corridor).

Stayed here for nye weekend and had a good experience! The view of the falls, both Canadian and American, and clear view of the fireworks from the room were the highlights. Check-in was smooth, even though hotels all over the planet are notoriously busy on 30th and 31st December. The receptionist even gave a top floor room and accommodated a late check-out, which is almost guaranteed with Bonvoy Gold status. Room was clean and spacious and the view was absolutely awesome. The hotel even surprised us with a bottle of Canadian sparkling wine on NYE, as a thank you for spending NYE at the hotel (aka: paying thrice the room price for the NYE weekend, lol). Food at the Milestones restaurant was good. The butternut squash ravioli was especially delectable! A good stay!

DO NOT STAY. Beds are unsanitary and have sharp wooden fragments in the sheets. Left me with scratches and infections. Management refused to rectify situation. Bathtub and elevator also don’t work which is just ridiculous for a hotel this expensive.

It was a lovely stay overall. Cons: Parking. Don’t pay for the valet parking. Go park at a $5 lot and Uber to the hotel I promise you it’s cheaper. Cleanliness of the bathroom. I have attached pictures for reference. The bathroom needs a good, real, scrub. But the rest of the room was fine, and smelled lovely. Pros: The staff! The friendliest staff on the planet, everyone seems really happy to work there which to me, means good management. Suzanne the server was particularly amazing, and we tipped her 50% she was so lovely. The spa! The spa is wonderful. Don’t forget to go trick or treating in the change rooms and get the free travel toiletries like razors and cream! We will be back again, mwah!

Completely misleading with the reviews do not stay here if you value your time. Firstly hotel was nice and clean but staff laughed at my questions and concerns with charges... Uppon arrival you are informed you will be charged for parking not just a fee but 47 dollars after tax... When you go to park there is none available and you pay 50 dollars to park across the street and walk!!! The location is horrible its the farthest hotel from the main strip literally. When I asked them today on the phone about why I was charged another 14 dollars on top of the 55.00 for parking they said amenities fee which does not make any sense and stated it would fall off my card. When I asked the front desk clerk if the 50 dollar parking included the garage or valet she laughed and stated you will pay this anywhere up here. The fact that you have to park an entire block away from the hotel and you are far from the strip is ridiculous. Vittoria is getting remodeled but much better location and cheaper nicer rooms too! Not dark and gloomy. Doubletree is closer not by much but didnt charge for parking either. I would never stay here again due to the random fees and the rudeness of the customer service when I called today to ask about the charges. Youre welcome in advance.

The view of the falls is about the only plus. We stayed at this hotel to celebrate our RUBY wedding anniversary, but wished we hadn’t. The bed room was depressing! It had old worn stained brown carpet on the floor! There was no safety deposit box in the room, the curtains were grubby, and hanging down having come off the track at the far end. The bathroom had a glass pain sliding door. It didn’t match the rest of the bathroom. Door handle was dirty as was the glass! How can this be a 4* hotel? After we checked out, we had a 2 hr wait for our transport, so we thought we’d indulge with a couple of alcoholic drinks, as you do on holiday…no chance at this hotel! The bar didn’t open until 4pm! PLEASE DON’T WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED CASH on this establishment.

The view of this hotel was amazing. It is really close enough to everything that we walked everywhere, even though I really didn't want to leave the room ! We had the breakfast buffet every am and it was bountiful .The reason I m giving the hotel a 4 was because of their EV charging. While the hotel has 8-10 chargers they are the SLOWEST ones available a level 1. To use the spaces for more than a coupe hours they wanted to charge valet parking fee ($59 vs $39 plus the outrageous taxes ) Well for a couple hours the car got only 10 KM so clearly not worth the extra $ They need to invest in at least L2 chargers, typically called destination chargers
