We used the lovely event room for my cousins baby shower this past weekend. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating to the last minute details. The service was in a timely manner and the food was amazing. I highly suggest to anyone who is having a small event to book this space! -Taylor D’Arcey

We typically visit Winery region every year in January and stay in the Niagara-on-the-Lake area. This time a friend mentioned "you have to stay at the "Old Stone Inn" it's great. Wow, they weren't kidding....we first did the wine tour thing, was a little worried about the distance to the hotel, it was soooo close, just 10 minutes away. Check in was quick, specific, to the point and they were extremely cordial and helpful. Room was really nice. We made reservations at the Restaurant, beautiful! The food was amazing as was the service - excellent. We went for a few drinks right after dinner at the bar and they had a great saxophonist playing and he was extremely friendly and engaging with the guests. We then took in the show, really, really good. I just never knew this place existed! It had what I would call "good ole' fashion customer service where people appeared to love what they were doing". What a gem, the best part was that after a long day of driving and visiting various Wineries, this special little place was a "one stop" for Hotel, Dinner and a Show. Who knew.....highly recommend.

We had the pleasure of attending a friends wedding at the Old Stone Inn Jan 13-14, 2023. What a perfect venue. The wedding, cocktails and reception all under one roof with each segment of the event hosted in different rooms. Each room was inviting with a warm atmosphere and friendly staff. It felt like a family gathering in an old stone castle rather than a cold brand name hotel. The staff was incredibly welcoming. The food was fantastic and all around the experience was 5 star. Special thanks to Frank who made our stay extra special with his personal touches and friendly service. From the moment we arrived to check out we received outstanding customer service. First class all the way. Added bonus - location is an easy walk to the falls, casino, Clifton hill and everything Niagara Falls is famous for.

We had my sons wedding here. January 14/23. The event was just amazing. The venue fantastic. The atmosphere was very cozy. The food was out of this world. Felt as if we were dining at an upscale restaurant. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. What sets this hotel apart from all others is the staff. From the front desk to the restaurant staff to the cleaning staff we were treated like family. Frank the food and beverage manager went out of his way to make sure every detail was taken care of. A very rare gem.

The hotel looks nice, nice lobby, EXPENSIVE restaurant!! I didn't eat there. My room was Superior Queen on 3rd floor, on the booking info it said pool facing...it was facing the parking lot...there was NO MINI FRIDGE in my room! I had to use a grocery bag full of ice to keep drinks cold. Parking is EXTRA $27!!! PER CAR!! Even though my room fee was almost $200 for the night. Positives is that its close walking distance to the falls ect...like 10 min. Other than that it really wasn't that impressive to be honest. Quite pricey for what I got...plus the extra parking fee!! This should be included! Why are they needing to charge extra for this? And on top of that...MAKE SURE YOU LOCK YOUR CAR!! I somehow forgot to do this, I think when I realized I didnt have a mini fridge so I went back to my car to get a bag for ice ( the ice bucket is only big enough for wine) and I must have left the doors unlocked because when I went back to my car in the morning it had been RANSACKED!!! My own fault I know, but just beware of this! Not sure I would bother staying there again for the cost.

We absolutely love the Old Stone Inn. It's a hidden gem with incredible service, food and ambiance and it's close to everything. The rooms are comfortable and wel appointed and the restaurant is top notch. (See my other review for the dome/cabin dining and the restaurant). Thanks to Deanna for helping to organize our weekend!

It was ok… only because Eddie at breakfast and the food were great - and the room had a bed. That’s about all I have to say about this place… never again. Save your $$$ and just go for the restaurant if anything… - HORRIBLE front desk staff - except Jay who got us out of a dingy banged up and dirty basement room - for something that didn’t quit as bad (like pinesol covering up the basement smell and mildew) and who’s furniture at least didn’t have whole chunks out of it.. Staff - I don’t know if “he” was security or what?? …But large man questioned me not 3 minutes into the lobby, as though I needed to justify being there.! And no.. we were NOT dressed even remotely like there was cause for it. Didn’t feel so bad when I found out later, he did the same to our friends… who were dressed as though they were ready for a high society event. And ‘he’ was friendly than the girl who checked us in!!… absolutely the unfriendliest check in EVER! She was replaced the next day with an older, pretentious woman who well… I’ll get there! - GAUGED at every corner!! Saw that ‘parking’ was an issue, in on line reviews, so we called directly and said we’d be willing to sign up for ‘reserved’ parking in advance… to which they didn’t admit at that point even, that they were going to charge us $30 a night regardless!! On top of our room - just to park. They have “no such thing” as ‘reserved’ parking. Friends there… no charge they thought, because they were in a ‘deluxe’ room that had it included. …Same room as us but with a higher ceiling, a cheesy cheap fireplace, and no bar fridge that we at least had … but $200 more per night as it was ‘deluxe’ We went to the front desk with questions later to the cratchety older woman, about the parking fees…. she begrudgingly gave us one night back - like she was doing US a favor, quoting ‘Expedia’ booking like it was ‘their’ doing and our ignorance at fault… and when asked to explain the ‘facilities’ fee on checkout (same woman)… had no rationalization other than 9am to 10pm pool… and was clearly ready to argue. As this weekend was my bday getaway, my husband didn’t have any interest and he paid it just to get the hell out of there and to leave their bs behind us. - indoor pool couldn’t be more unappealing, constant crowd of smokers right at the front entrance, absolute ridiculous maze to get to your room (DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU HAVE MOBILITY ISSUEs)… no valet, no bellhops, and housekeeping ONLY if you call and request it?!!… they say it’s due to covid still, but that clearly doesn’t come in to play when looking at how diligent they do not clean before new guests arrive. - Cheap small towels, 1 roll of tp in bathroom, housecoats were filthy, rooms in BAD need of repair from paint to banged up furniture with chunks out of it… to stained ceiling tiles in the hallways and popcorn ceilings.. whole hotel…a MESS!! Any money spent here is on lobby decor. - No spa, not hot tub, no other facilities but the restaurants at the main entrance… and they were nice which is why I say ‘stay elsewhere and go for them’. YET… $100.00 facilities fee that was not mentioned ANYWHERE in booking or upon check in. Terrible place… Double Tree right across will definitely get our money on the next visit.

This was not the first visit to the Old Stone Inn in Niagara Falls by a long shot. Been back several times over the years and they never fail to please. Quiet, not too big and far enough away from the attractions to keep things private yet close enough it is never hard to walk to the big attractions in the Falls. Room was clean and well appointed and the service as always was excellent.

My wife and I had a small wedding reception here on November 5th, the entire event from start to finish was amazing. We were greeted warmly and with professionalism by Deanna from sales, she was a tremendous help in helping us plan and set up our evening. We needed a rain room and when Deanna was unavailable to show it to us Michael the CEO showed us a potential rain room as well as answering any questions we had. We also met Frank the food and beverage manager who aside from being very easy to talk to was also a big part of making the night come together so beautifully. The evening of our wedding the wait staff Dwayne & Gia were amazing at anticipating our needs and making sure we had everything we needed. The food was amazing and exceeded all expectations we had. Being met with such warmth and friendliness from the CEO to the wait staff showed us that we made the right choice to choose The Old Stone Inn for our wedding. The entire atmosphere is warm welcoming and laid back but has a rustic elegance that is unparalleled in Niagara falls. I look forward to going back in the near future and would highly recommend it to anyone local or anyone visiting out of town.
