    The rooms need to seriously be updated. Upon arrival, we were checking in and the gentleman helping us disappeared for about 5-10 minutes after seeing what type of room we booked... We ended up with the worst room on the 9th floor.... I booked a room with a “view” to the falls but honestly the rooms at the end of the hall should be discounted because you have to go to the very edge of the window and look off way into the side to get the “view” you’re paying so much money for... On top of that, our bathroom door wouldn’t close no matter how hard we pulled to get it shut.. and the door to our suite was also hard to close... I called to get a new room and I was told to call back in the morning... I returned to the front desk at noon and speak to someone about my dissatisfaction with the room for the THIRD TIME (at this point, I was getting very irritated) and finally get a new room... The bedroom door wasn’t hard to close but it was hard to open .... Our second room was hot, nomatter how much we lowered the temperature on the thermostat... This hotel should NOT be rated more than 3 stars, nor should it cost this much money...

    This hotel needs an overall before advertising in rooms! It was old, out dated, too small of a room, over booked, no walk no walk in Shower rooms available at check in, AC made noise, ceiling had bubbles and cracks, closet wasn't even big enough for a suitcase, DISGRACE TO BE called a Crowne Plaza... I even said I would pay more for a better room, NOPE!... They didn't even offer to discount our stay!...

Fruit Flies in room and hallway and elevator, no fridge, toilet has all the damage marks from previous unclogging with an auger, corners are dusty and it was a poor experience...

At check-in I received an upgrade to a 2-bedroom suite as Diamond Ambassador guest which is more generous than what the vast majority of hotels would ever give, and it’s not because I was staying in low season: we are in July with lots of tourists around... Given how spacious our suite was, the set-up was much better than being sick in a restaurant with several other guests around... The main negative was how dated the room was...

When I booked a room with two double beds I didn't imagine the abomination that we would get... This last fact meant that 1) all the humidity would seep into the room and 2) the smells of the bodily functions would do the same... Housekeeping skipped our room 2 days out of the 5 (which meant no clean towels), but I can't really blame them - I figured they may not have been able to fit the cleaning trolley into that hole... All in all, the average of $300/night (more with taxes and surcharges) is completely undeserved for the state of the rooms...

    I do not recommend staying here if you are not prepared to be charged for every little thing... However, even though we had double sized beds in our room, the reception kept insisting that “all fallsview rooms have queen size beds”... We have a queen sized bed at home and the beds in our hotel room were obviously much smaller... Rooms are uncomfortably small and our bathroom door swelled up and didn’t even close... You’d think with cuts in service they’d charge people less for staying here… We were charged $40/day for parking, $16/day resort fee, $30/day tourist fee tax and 13% HST on top of everything, so our $309/night room turned into a $450/night room...

One room the bathroom floor had to have towels to absorb the water overflow... 50% off our stay refund upon cancelation relocation to an inferior hotel (no discount) We accepted the 50%... After some discussion, the hotel manager adjusted the rate to the agreed upon 50%...

    Booked rooms for a weekend getaway with my family and friends to celebrate two birthdays... They show a huge picture window in the falls view room with gorgeous views... Looking at those we booked a falls view room specifically... They only moved our room to another when the maintenance guy confirmed the problem and told them we needed to be moved... The other room was equally bad with the views... I’d really like to know what the resort fee is for when the rooms are worse than a 2 star motel...

    Book our night at the Crowne Plaza through booking.com and nowhere in any communications did it say parking was $39 plus multiple taxes. The cost for one night in what they call a queen room, oversized double bed, was suppose to around $230/night with all the taxes (HST and the local tourist tax) but when I received my receipt it was $280/night because parking was an extra $39+ taxes... No disclosure about parking cost at the hotel, very deceitful on their part...

I brought a small cooler for drinks as I knew that going in and didn’t want to pay another fee for fridge rental... Be prepared for many additional fees...     Although my experience with the quality of the Crowne Plaza was pretty bad, I would like to recognize Shania from the front desk/guest services. She went way over and beyond to get us another room half way through our stay... Although for the price I paid, I would probably never stay here again, ( as we are Sheraton Falls View folks), she did a great job at customer service and should be commended for all her hard efforts with the little tools at her disposal...     My wife, a Diamond Ambassador with IHG was treated like royalty at this historic hotel. We were upgraded to room 1107, with a balcony and stunning view of both falls... The very helpful front desk staff also informed us of a water park package, which enabled us to visit the waterpark for 2 days instead of one... Breakfast as a huge highlight with servers Marko, Zlatko, and Volkan helping us with everything we needed, even taking our pictures with the view in the background... As a surprise, we also received a hand delivered and hand written card from the GM thanking us four loyalty and providing a $15 credit to the Starbucks in the lobby... It is walking distance to the cruise dock and bus stops as well...

    ...I booked 2 double beds as that is all that was available upon booking. At check in I requested 2 Queen beds and it was available for a small surcharge and a decent view of the American falls... There was an ice machine on the 5th floor... No water bottles in our room, but I was able to get some via reception... I’ve stayed at the neighborhooring waterpark hotels and the crown plaza is definitely the most convenient hotel to do the waterpark accessible via the main lobby and no long walks through tunnels and restaurants to get to waterpark... We enjoyed our stay and all our interactions with staff were very pleasant and accommodating... We were able to get a late check out and that made the next day easier with no rush and the kids could do another few hours at the park...

    The rooms need to seriously be updated... I booked a room with a “view” to the falls but honestly the rooms at the end of the hall should be discounted because you have to go to the very edge of the window and look off way into the side to get the “view” you’re paying so much money for... There was no mini fridge which was so weird considering most hotels do provide that, ESPECIALLY hotels that have the audacity to charge resort fees... Honestly, I regret booking my stay here because I was very excited for this trip and hotels are a big deal to me, especially when they’re supposed to have an “amazing” view...

    Travelled with husband and two teens and the kids did that waterpark package during the Christmas break... At check in I requested 2 Queen beds and it was available for a small surcharge and a decent view of the American falls... The room and bathroom were small but most importantly everything was clean and for one night to rest our heads it was fine, don’t think I could do another night with 4 people though as it was pretty tight... The beds were comfortable, but the room is missing some basic amenities ( like a fridge and a chair)... I brought a small cooler for drinks as I knew that going in and didn’t want to pay another fee for fridge rental... There was an ice machine on the 5th floor... No water bottles in our room, but I was able to get some via reception... Connected to casino, hard rock, Hershey factory... Everything you want to see just a few steps away... The hotel lobby is beautifully decorated and we enjoyed the old fashioned charm that is rare now a days... We enjoyed our stay and all our interactions with staff were very pleasant and accommodating... We were able to get a late check out and that made the next day easier with no rush and the kids could do another few hours at the park... Parking 39.00 and then resort fee, destination fee and taxes...

This was our lst time visiting Canada and wasn't sure where to stay. After we chose the Crowne Plaza, we were thrilled we did. We were greeted by Ragnad with a smile and a warm welcome. She explained all the amenities of the hotel and surprisingly upgraded our room when she found out we were celebrating our Anniversary. She also added a special treat bag of chocolates. She was a pleasure to interact with and her personalized service will ensure our return to this hotel.

Don't stay here. The picture they sent in our confirmation isn't close to the real thing. The room was tiny. We had about 9" of room between the wall and the foot of the bed. And the toilet was up against the TP roll so you literally sat there as it dug into your arm. There is no mini fridge, so I had to use the ice bin to keep a medication cool which obviously doesn't work well. The bed was supposed to be a queen, but seemed more like a double. And the view...... :( And although the view from the Prime Steakhouse is lovely, we didn't like the food. The lobster bisque was nasty as was my hubby's onion soup. We both thought it tasted "off." The surf and turf was not good: the beef was great but the lobster ravioli sauce was not good and the lobster was overcooked. After our stay, I was asked to review it by IHG and I even sent pics to management, but no reply.

I stayed on October and I have to say I really loved the hotel. All the history behind and the location was perfect. The restaurant was very good and all the people was super nice, we were upgraded to this beautiful room with a very nice view and this really made our stay perfect, we would definitely be back. Hotel room was ok. Clean, what was the most important, however, room does not have a fridge or even a fan in the bathroom. It could use some updating for sure. Visited the restaurant on a 20th floor, and our server was Zlatko. Very nice, friendly, helpful gentleman. He get's the 5 start for sure.

Beds were comfortable. There was mould in the bathroom, not surprising as there was no bathroom fan. The vanity is too large for the space and makes it difficult to enter. The restaurant advertisement in the room listed breakfast as starting at 7:30 so we woke up and headed up only to find out it didn’t start until 8. This was extremely frustrating. On checkout I had to get them to remove the parking charge despite me indicating I didn’t have a car upon checkin. The bathroom was also quite dark making showering and makeup application difficult.

Fantastic hotel, great location, views over the falls from our room on the 9th floor were stunning. Bed was comfy, room was clean. Prime steakhouse on the 10th floor was amazing. Steaks were delicious, hubby had the Kobe steak and loved it. Would recommend this hotel. Had an absolutely brilliant time. Meeting Dino was a pleasure, he took us for a cuppa and we could have listened to him all day. Ye dont get that kind of service everywhere you know. Just brilliant.
