good value, $127. the Monte Carlo is likely a 2 star hotel, almost a 3 on the hotel rating scale. located in mississauga. about 20 minute drive from Downtown Toronto. but downtown comparable hotels are closer to $200, with brand hotels closer to $250. Monte Carlo was clean, room smallish. queen bed comfortable. wifi easy connection, worked good. continental breakfast was good, croissants, coffee, boiled eggs, cold cereal, toast, fruit, yogurt. breakfast eating area little small, only 3 tables. most guests took a tray of food, back to their room. parking free. the monte carlo appeared to be a renovated motel, with outside entrance room doors on most floors. if you want to save some money, and don't mind the 20 minutes drive to downtown, the monte carlo should meet your needs. no swimming pool. I didn't see a workout room either.

This hotel is small in a location with not a lot going on around it unless you have specific plans. The rooms and hotel itself was clean and the prices was reasonable. Staff were friendly and helpful when we asked questions. They have a small continental breakfast which was okay and would hold you until you had a full breakfast.

I initially stayed at the hotel because everywhere else I had stayed in before was fully booked. I decide to try it and was surprised how small the place was when I got there.
If you want to stay in a smaller hotel with EXCELLENT service, this is definitely the place for you. I stayed two extra nights because of how pleasant and accommodating the staff is, the Supervisor Mary, Manager Pradeep are all personable and helpful. The first night, one of the receptionist (Gagan) went out of his way to accommodate me, as I did not drive there and was in need of drinking water that I was specifically fond of that was not available in the vending machine and I wasn't feeling well enough to go out and get it. After work, he went and picked up a 24 bottle pack of water for me and carried it all the way to my room. Now that's service I have never gotten anywhere else! I've stayed in four and five star hotels where you don't get this kind of service and compassion.
All in all, the room was small but clean, bed and pillows comfortable, fireplace nice, bathroom clean and stocked, breakfast light but great variety.
They really make the customer feel valued and that beats square footage or fancier walls to me. I will definitely stay here again.

This place was so bad that we had to laugh at it. The floor was wet in front of the air conditioner and when we inquired about it, was told that it was condensation from the air conditioner., happens in every room. Someone opened the door from the outside on our first day there at 9:42am and when we asked the front desk about it, they stated it must have been housekeeping and they would talk to the person. The door to the room did not open nor close easily. To open, you had to use your shoulder or hip to get into the room and when leaving the room, you had to pull the door shut as it did not close automatically. The queen bed was either a small queen or a double bed size. The room was much smaller than pictured on their website as there was one chair and a small table and limited space to walk around the bed. On the evening before we left, we asked if they had an area to store our luggage for a few hours and was told no. However in the morning as we were checking out, asked the person on duty if they would be able to store our luggage for a few hours and was told yes. By this time it was too late to do more sightseeing. Our room was outside the building in a small alcove and when you left the room, you were in the back parking lot. It was convenient for the venue we attended, but otherwise would never stay here again.

Dear Valued Guest, We thank you for your review and want to sincerely apologize if your stay with disappointing in any way. Our team should have switched you to a room with a functioning air conditioner. We have since spoken to our team regarding our brand standards and they are aware of the errors made during your stay, including the housekeeping incident and the luggage storage. We do understand that our stay did not meet our brand standards but we do hope you can provide us the opportunity to serve you again in the future. Best, Sabrina M.

I feel they charge a lot on weekends considering it's a 2-3 star hotel and the location isn't great. A little better than some of the nearby dive hotels (1-2 star). Had a jacuzzi suite for my birthday for a lot of money. The carpet was wet. Very bad smell.

Dear Valued Guest, Thank you for your feedback. The suite in which you stayed is our most luxurious room. Our prices are in line with our competition in the neighbourhood however the room in which you stayed is unique therefore the price is higher. We hope this makes sense. Please do let the staff know of any issues during your stay (i.e the wet carpet and smell) as we would be more than happy to have assisted you. Thank you. Best, Sabrina M.

Total misrepresentation.
The photons on the website must be of one room they keep for that sole purpose.
No parking available, had to park next door.
The room my son and I were given was in the basement. After a maze walk through the hallways we found an exterior door to our room. Dingy would be an apt portrayal. Dark, small, sparse would be good additions. While I didn't expect anything special, this was absolutely not the room that is shown in the advertisement. It is tiny and dark and ancient. There is peeling paint in the bathroom, the heater works but is loud and after we went to bed a strange noise began echoing through the room, drowning out the traffic and even the planes from Pearson. I found some pipe outside the room, possibly a vent of some sort, making a terrible noise that didn't stop for 15 minutes. Relief. Only for a short while though, as it came back, over and over, all night long. Even the rock hard pillows wouldn't dull the noise. I had a terrible sleep and am not even going to stay for the advertised "breakfast". No more surprises thank you.
Terrible experience.

The hotel was great and the room was clean. My only problem was getting to the room. I am somewhat handicap and my mobility isn't all that great. I had to go down and up on the flight of stairs, which made it difficult to get to my room. I came in really late so I didn't complain. The breakfast was in a small room, and there wasn't much room to sit and enjoy your breakfast. Overall, I did like my stay. I just wish I had a different room without the stairs. I had to go up and down on. I would stay here if I made another trip to Toronto.

Sanjeev, the concierge was very helpful. He helped me find a room at 2am in the morning. He was very kind and patient with me. During our stay he made us tea (indian chai)
Personally we weren't impressed with this location of Monte Carlo as the curtains didnt close and also there was a pair of dirty socks in the room but we were impressed with Sanjeev's hospitality and his willingness to help us.

Dear Valued Guest, We appreciate you taking the time to provide us feedback on your recent stay. We are pleased to hear the service was well appointed. Our brand strives to ensure each of our guests feels at home away from home when staying with us and we are sorry to hear that the room was not up to our company standards. We will look into this isolated situation to ensure it does not happen again. We hope you will choose Monte Carlo Inns when visiting the Toronto/Mississauga area in the future. Best regards, Sabrina M.

I was attending an event at a nearby restaurant and just needed a place to stay rather than driving after a convivial evening. Room was clean, bed was comfortable (but if you have issues with pillows, you may wish to bring your own), staff was friendly. Is it a modern hip hotel, no - it channels a 1990's Holiday Inn but it was serviceable for my needs.

We had a simple room, but very affordable. The room had everything we needed. Clean, warm, and safe. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Not a lot in the immediate area, but public transportation and Uber was easily accessible. Downtown Toronto wasn’t too far and fun to experience.

Hi there, We are a 100% smoke free hotel. We do however have rooms that exit onto a back patio which can be smoked on.
