We decided to stay in July of 2015 to break up a long drive during our vacation. The rooms where clean and the grounds were beautiful. Just off the highway, check in was quick and friendly. We ate in the restaurant which was very good, well priced, and generous portions compared to what you sometimes find.

Outside our window we look down on a frozen creek surrounded by tall trees and the deer resting in the snow. A peaceful quiet place in a busy city. What more could one ask for. Ask for the hospital discount when your stay is for University Hospital. The discount is great.

I just spent two nights in this hotel. For $140 a night, I'd expect things to be a little more modern than they were.... The carpets were run down, the wallpaper was dirty. It's time to put a little tender, loving care into the hotel. Noise travelled easily. However, the beds were comfortable. The cafe next to the hotel served...

This was my first time at Windermere and I was disappointed with the way some of the staff behaved, Qwen and Melissa to be exact. Qwen was very rude when I asked to change rooms and did not accommodate and also I walked in one afternoon to hear her yelling at one of the front desk clerk. Also when I...

This hotel is a nice hotel, they have comfortable beds and is very spaced. The rooms had a mini refrigerator, a tv and a coffee maker. It's very close to western university and western hospital. I think it could use a little upgrade and could be a little more clean.

We were visiting Huron University College so the Windermere Hotel was an ideal location for us. It is tucked away into a little hideaway and felt like stepping back in time. If that's your thing then the Windermere Hotel is for you. The room was nice, but needed some updating. The ceiling needs some work, tiles in the bathrom, while...

Sadly, my husband and I had to spend Christmas away from our home province and family for medical reasons so we spent 3 weeks at the Windermere Manor. I loved the old world charm, although the interior could use a little update, but that's purely cosmetic! The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable and laundry machines are...

I stayed here for a little over two weeks, so got a very good read on the place. And I think it's just fine. But it's not particularly new, and a little rough around the edges. Some will undoubtedly argue that it has "charm" and while I would not necessarily disagree, I'm not a fan of hotels that presume to...

After driving 5 hours in white out and blizzard conditions we where thrilled to arrive safe and get to our room. The suite was a great size it is clean, beds comfortable and only 3 min drive to University Hospital. The snow falling out side is soft and beautiful. The Windermere is off the beaten path, it is tucked in...
