My friend and i have been backpacking and this is a great alternative to a backpackers hostel. Has basic services as you would expect in student accomodation. Shared kitchen facilities and TV room. A great base for exploration and very affordable.

We stayed the Leggett Hall last weekend with our son's soccer team during a soccer tournament. It's not a hotel… it's a student residence building and it feels and looks like a student residence. One earlier reviewer mentioned the showers and towels - well both points are true - the water pressure in the shower is so strong that a...

First time staying in this kind of residence. Four star hotels are my usual accommodation when travelling only because of the peace of mind of having a clean place to stay the night. Being peak season now, the 4+ star hotels were charging peak prices so when I came across this residence and read that it has suites with two...

Daughter had a soccer tournament in Kingston and the team booked rooms at the student residences. The staff was great, they put each team in their own wing. The rooms were all 2 bedrooms with a double bed in each separated by a bathroom. Free wifi, laundry machines in the building. Each wing has a lounge with fridge, stove ,...

We stayed here as a team this weekend and the setting was perfect for us. It is definitely dorm style - no frills, but perfect for what we needed. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the cleaning staff was helpful and patient with our team. Front desk staff were hit and miss. Some were very helpful - some not...

We stayed in a double room with a shared bath for a basketball tournament. The rooms did not have a tv, you couldn't get wifi in the room, housekeeping was every other day and then they just brought fresh towels. The towels were so sparse they left fuzz all over your body. And the shower head was.a water torture device...

As part of a two week family roadtrip through Canada (with my husband and our three kids), we wanted to stay in Kingston to see the Thousand Islands. We had stayed at another Canadian university dorm space and were happy with it, so we booked this one. The location, on campus and just one block from a trail along the...

Stayed for a weekend soccer tournament. Kids had a great time. There was a nice laundry facility on the main floor - even though there was a linen/towel minimum the staff were understanding and gave us extra. Staff at the front desk were exceptionally pleasant too!

“Would have been nice if a pool were nearby - not much for kids because it is a University Residence! Beautiful park/outdoor soccer field and a Tim Hortons nearby (in Hospital just a walk up the street). No restaurant on the premesis.”
