I'm still undecided about this hotel and I think its quite difficult to review because each room is so different and so this is going to be a very personal viewpoint and also one coloured by the fact that we arrived here after staying in one of the best rooms we've ever had. Although billed a hotel it falls somewhere...

It depends on the taste but to my liking this hotel was the second besr I have stayed in my life. The first one was in Valparaiso, also making you feel at home, very friendly owners and staff, making you feel that you belong to the place somehow. The breakfast we had, was the best we had during our 15...

we were exploring the area and saw this hotel as we drove past. It was the 1st one we approached for one night's accommodation for 2 couples and a 14 year old boy. The initial welcome through to the upgrade and the ambience and the closeness to Kingston town hub made it a remarkable find and much more than just...

This is our second stay here. An old Mansard located 2 blocks from the waterfront and the restaurants. We love the charm, the service and the proximity to the park, the harbor, the shops, pubs and restaurants. More a place for couples, looking for quiet sleep away from the bustle, the rooms are spacious and quaintly appointed. Not too stuffy,...

Great B & B in gorgeous, convenient neighborhood. Three of us stayed comfortably in a large room on the main floor. It was a lovely, large and quiet room. Staff was very accommodating and even offered a tasty gluten free English muffin with the light breakfast. The tea was quality and the coffee nice and strong. I would recommend the...

The staff was very friendly. The room was clean. it is a historic home built in the 1880's. We enjoyed a continental breakfast brought up to our room. I would definitely recommend a stay in this hotel. The only I would add is a coffee and tea station available in their parlour downstairs when you come in at night in...

We stayed here for a few nights recently. The hotel is beautifully maintained old house with period furniture and decor, so more a more interesting place to stay than a conventional chain hotel. The room we stayed in was roomy with a nice bed, furniture and fittings. The bathroom had a tub and was just fine. TV with heaps of...

This hotel was exactly what was expected! Old charm of a large estate home, antique furniture and very friendly staff. Felt like I was staying at my great great Aunt's house! You want a hotel.... Go to a hotel! ;)

Unique - the old style furnishing take you back in time... We loved the atmosphere. A very quiet neighborhood. We were greeted by David who was so nice and helped us carry our suitcases (a few stairs up to the entrance) Pros: Close to the 1000 island ticket office (about 10 minutes walk). We stayed in the lower floor, a...

I have often stayed here in this old and stately home. I do like the high ceilings, and the antique furnishings. Certainly the front desk staff are always friendly and helpful. The location is great! There is, however, an area that needs a change. They offer a mini breakfast that you may have brought to your room, or eaten in...
