Gillian was born in England. Now retired, she ran an upscale gift shop in Kingston for years. Her 1850 home is filled with lovely things from all over the world. Gillian was charming and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay with her. The room we had was comfortable and quiet, and we slept very well. It was up a short flight... More

We were treated to homely comforts with great conversations and helpful advice. Extremely reasonable rates and even washing folded for us. Would not hesitate to recommend this accommodation to anyone. Breakfasts were great and nothing was too much trouble. Felt quite sad to leave.

Great location, quiet neighbourhood (or at least it was with university out). Lovely uncluttered home. Narrow old limestone house so my room (2 twin beds, modern ensuite) was on it's own floor. Very comfortable room, good bedding. No closet, would have been a bit crowded with two people. Might be hot in the middle of summer but in June the... More

This was our first visit to Kingston and we stayed three nights at Gillian Fisher's Bed & Breakfast which she has been doing for 30+ years now! A refined, hospitable hostess. SERVICE: Really good, made wifi, ironing board and iron all available. Made us feel truly at home. Gave us privacy but was happy to chat sociably over breakfast. Breakfast... More

I was in town to look over Queen's University with my daughter, and was dismayed by the very high price of modest accommodation in Kingston. Gillian Fisher's place was by far the best deal for location and amenities. Her house is lovely without being fussy, (none of the quilted geese or other fripperies that so many B&Bs think necessary). The... More

We recently spent two nights at the Gillian Fisher B&B. A lovely old limestone house in a very safe residential area of Kingston with off-street parking. Our room and bathroom were large enough for our belongings, breakfast was cereal, fruit, toast and eggs if we desired, The room rate was very reasonable ($95 Can. with taxes included) and we were...
