We stayed one night in the Queen Suite the weekend before Valentine's Day and highly recommend it. My partner surprised me with the upgrade to flowers and wine in the room and in suite breakfast. We highly recommend the add-on $25 for in suite breakfast. Everything was perfect, staff were accommodating and the room was gorgeous. We'll definitely be back.

This is a beautiful old building which was brought back to life. the rooms each have their own theme, the bathroom was nice, the bed comfortable. The breakfast so-so and the attention was a little lacking, but I think the owner was about in need of a break. I would give it another go for sure.

Stayed one night. The house is pretty. Our room was okay but bathroom needs updating. Loose tiles and awkward to get into bathtub/shower. Fan did not work and made a loud noise when on. Hostess needs to add a bar and sitting room. A warmer welcome wouldn't hurt either. Breakfast was fine.

I loved this place the moment I stepped through the door. My one night booking soon evolved to three! Janet is a lovely person and attentive host, dedicated to the well-being of her guests. Her conscientious attention to detail permeates throughout this gorgeous Victorian house. Delicious made to order breakfasts, stimulating conversation, clean, comfortable and spacious rooms and convenient parking...

My wife booked me at night as a gift when I was away from home for medical related travel. I stayed in the Turkish Room ( she had stayed there prior to visit me and loved it!). Norfolk has a variety of rooms each styled differently, and the grounds are a beautiful oasis of trees and flowers that turns an...

My husband won an evening there and it was beautiful. We celebrated our 23 anniversary in style. We were also served a nice breakfast. But be warned if you don't answer the owners questions she will burn your croissant!

I like to be spoiled. There. I said it. When my husband had to go to Guelph for work and I decided to tag along I began researching. I was looking for a place where I could relax during the day, walk downtown for a nice lunch or visit a spa or coffee shop. I wanted an experience, not just...

We stayed in the Turkish room, and have a lovely stay. The room was beautiful, excellent linens, in the bathroom was renovated, tiled floors, shower, and a Jacuzzi bathtub. The furniture throughout the room was unique and beautiful. We had an excellent breakfast each morning where we chose out of an option of three different meals. It was quickly prepared....

I stayed in the Queen Suite on the main floor for a recent business trip. The room is very large and comfortable, with striking architectural details (check out the ceiling) and a spacious ensuite. This bedroom was once the main parlour / living room in this historic house, so it is a unique experience to stay there. The hostess was...

We realy enjoyed our two nights visit at this beautiful old home situated close to downtown Guelph. The hospitality was wonderful, the grounds were beautiful especially the patio area in the rear of the building. The room was very well equipped with modern fittings and a great Jacuzzi tub large enough to accommodate two. The breakfasts were great. Two mornings...
