We stayed one night in the Duffield Suite. It was comfortable peaceful and beautifully furnished. A nice surprise was a private patio right out the back door.We were walking distance from the Empire Rockfest which was why we were in Belleville.I cannot fail to mention our breakfast. Fresh fruit, yogurt, croissants, scrambled eggs and french toast served in a lovely dining room. We met our host Bernie at breakfast and felt right at home. Really could not ask for a more pleasant stay.

Stayed in the Duffield Suite (with private bath). Very large, spacious suite that is perfect for a family or two couples. Big bathroom - both rooms very clean. Breakfast served in the morning was good with very attentive staff. Host Bernie is very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast included yogurt, fruit, croissants, toast, and an egg dish with coffee and juice.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Bernie and Lise were welcoming and gracious, and the suite was spacious and charming. We had our own entrance and patio, and while the bathroom was just outside the suite it was private and sparkling, Breakfast was fresh and delicious, and was served by the elegant Rolf who made sure we were well looked after. The inn is located close to the Empire Theatre in a quiet neighbourhood, which suited us perfectly. We will definitely be back!!

I highly recommend this beautiful home to anyone visiting the Belleville area. We spent 2 nights in a beautiful Victorian room with a scrumptious breakfast each day. Close to downtown and the waterway. Bernie visits all his guest and told us about the history of the house.

We stayed with Lise and Bernie for the second time in October 2016, the first time being last spring. The property itself is exquisitely maintained and your hosts go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. Last spring we stayed in a large upstairs room on the south side, which was extremely comfortable and more like a suite. Our friends stayed on the ground floor in another suite. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the neighbourhood is quiet but a short walking distance to downtown. The staff were glad to make spot on recommendations for restaurants and wineries to visit on our tour. This month we stayed in a smaller upstairs room which was cosy but included an ensuite bathroom with shower. The breakfasts are served in a very classy dining room on fine china, and Rolf, our server, wore formal attire! We will definitely return soon when we have the chance to enjoy more of Prince Edward County's amenities.
