Our first night in Barolo region, late, dark, pouring rain. Our B&B host offered to ride us to a local place for dinner. Wonderful little place. Unassumingly elegant. The home made pasta with the incredible generous serving of truffles is just to wonderful to describe. I only hope that nobody discovers this tiny restaurant and that it never changes (even the somewhat unusual deco).

Piemontese gastronomy at medium high prices ; the restaurant doesn t look impressive and the service was standard but the food was superb from start to finish featuring the classics of piemontese cuisine looking towards tradition more than fancy experiments.

We stayed two nights at this family run friendly inn. The accomodations are clean with a nice modern bath. The restaurant is excellent. We had black truffels and white truffels. Highlight of our stay was the exquisite food we ate in the restaurant. Don't miss that. Comfortable, spacious rooms. Good breakfast. Very friendly hosts. We stayed with Massimo at his B&B and he told us about his restaurant. We were cycling around Piedmonte and then going to a villa 25 klms from Novello.
