Very happy and comfortable, no escalator so book downstairs rooms if stairs are a problem. Perfect accom. for sightseeing and walking to Pier 21. Excellent breakfast included, wonderful dinner with friends at the restuarant at night.

While the staff, service and dining room were impeccable we found the experience a little ho hum. Even as seniors it is nice to have a livelier atmosphere and more modern presentation. For the price, which fortunately for us was a gift, we could have had much more "splendour" in a cheaper establishment. Well done effort on décor, but slanted,...

superb -only minor point is access to dining. We had to go outside to go to the dining room. The meal was, however , well worth it. Choice of menu was limited but the final product was unique and perfectly prepared

Loved my stay at the Halliburton. I knew their dining room was amazing, but only recently discovered great value and comfort for overnight as well. The location is excellent, free parking and lovely breakfast. The staff were helpful and my room very cosy.

For our vacation we wanted a memorable, quaint, high class hotel. The Halliburton gave us this, and more. The staff was welcoming and helpful beyond our expectations. We could walk everywhere in the city from The Halliburton. We really felt at home...but way nicer! I recommend a room with a fireplace, it adds something special that other hotels won't have....

We have stayed at the Haliburton on previous visits to Halifax. We have found the location to be convenient for walking around the city. The rooms are pleasantly appointed and comfortable. We did however find that the room could use a deep cleaning.(especially bathroom). That was disappointing to see.

We loved staying at the haliburton, lovely and charming. Romantic little escape with a wonderful restaurant that serves local fine cuisine. The haliburton is well located and steps away from the VIA train station for those that wish to have a truly romantic escape on the Ocean

Great location in a very comfortable character hotel. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating when we requested an extension in our stay. It was also nice having a modest breakfast each morning of our stay.

Disappointing TV sports coverage when the Workd series was on....my husband had to go to a bar to watch baseball. Average accommodations for the price...small bathroom, noisy bar at the back of the building Good breakfast included daily, ample parking, must be able to do stairs and carry own luggage upstairs. Had to go to front desk in building next...

The Restaurant is superb. I love the old world feel of this hotel. The dine and stay package is one of the best deals in Halifax. The hotel is in a great location within walking distance of Pier 21and the waterfront stores and restaurants.

“We stayed on the first floor in a room at the front in the second building-right off Morris Street. It was very comfortable, easily accessible, quiet and within easy walking distance to the Halifax Waterfront area.”

“There is no elevator, so I helped an elderly couple carry their bags to their room on the upper level. No elevator was not a drawback for me, however, and I am sure that the staff could have helped if asked.”
