Great Hotel with amazing staff. Front desk were very accommodating for your needs, as well as the restaurant staff. Hotel location was perfect. Could do better with cleaning though. On our 3rd day after we came back from breakfast, our room was already cleaned but our beddings was not changed. We called front desk and ask for our beddings to be changed but the day ends nobody came. They don’t use garbage bags on their bins so we used our own because we have a toddler and we need it for his dirty diaper. We noticed that the cleaner don’t take the bags off instead she only dumped the garbage. The bathroom floors are not cleaned during our stay, as there will still water marks on the floor. But overall we have a great stay and will comeback.

A beautiful hotel in a great location just by the Harbourfront. The scenery of the hotel was so good in and out, and the reception area was so spacious and very clean. The conference rooms were so spacious and very good for hosting meetings. Their restaurant is also bad. Overall, the experience was good and nice....

New management and it was terrible. Put me in a room over construction then made a big mistake in billing. Staff very rude and have zero dedication. Many employees do not understand English. Never again!!

We stayed at the Marriott Harbourfront over the holiday attending the World Juniors. We booked early not knowing when the games we would be attending would be. When we went to change our reservations they tried to jack our room prices up by about $100 a night. I have never seen a hotel try and take advantage of a client this badly and would not recommend staying there.

When booking reservations rates are based on numerous conditions such as length of stay, time of the year and occupancy levels at the hotel. Unfortunately when reservations are altered, such as in this case where dates are completely cancelled during the time frame of the original reservation, these are no longer considered the same reservation and are now treated as separate bookings and the new booking is made at what the current sell rates may be. I am sorry that this process caused you issues but again I do thank you for sharing your concerns.

Stayed here for New Year’s Eve & everything was perfect. Room was large and comfortable. Desk, couch/settee, fridge, etc. Staff were all helpful and friendly. We had forgotten a bottle opener and the front desk happily tracked one down for us. Had a beautiful harbour view. It is right downtown close to all the amenities of downtown Halifax.

Luxurious. Love staying here! We arrived on Christmas Day at around 6pm. The hotel was quiet, and we had a pleasant room with a view of the harbor. The room was spacious, and the hotel left a very sweet Christmas Card with hand signatures from many of the hotel staff. Included was a small package of Lindt chocolates. Very thoughtful and sweet.

Good experience despite hurricane Fiona. Found our Insight Tour charged us much more than the hotel rate. Do not travel with Insight Tours. We were so very badly treated. Tour was cancelled even though hurricane was forecast, we were told no money would be refunded if we were not in Halifax by the first day of our tour. Cost us extra $6000 for air fares . Insight not at all responsive. So disappointing.

The bed was really really comfortable. The room however was quite small and lacked plug sockets. The first night was extremely noisy from 12-5am. Apparently even though on the fifth floor it was near a bar. We changed rooms and had stained sheets but it was quiet so worth it. The hotel took off the car parking for us though it didnt really compensate me for the lack of sleep!! Fabulous location

A very nice view of the harbor from my room. Plenty of options for dining and drinking in the area. Titanic museum is next door. I would love to stay again and spend more time in the area. The lobster rolls in the hotel restaurant are great.

We were booked into this hotel as part of a tour group. The location was superb -- right on the waterfront with easy access to walking on the wharf, sights, and great dining. The room was large and comfortable, though the tub showed some need for additional cleaning (blackened caulk in the corner of the tub) and no safe in the room. Breakfast off the menu was included, and it was very good. Very nice hotel staff.
