Summer's Inn is located right around the corner from the waterfront. Just a short walk to a beautiful quiet downtown, If you like the feel of a small fishing village, great seaside view and very friendly people, this is the place to visit. The staff at this Inn is genuinely friendly, courteous and makes every effort to make your stay... More

We picked this hotel on its 'historic' building description. Unfortunately the majority of its historic aspects have been covered by later modification. Not their fault but next door's security light shone right into our bedroom making sleep a challenge. That said, the welcome was very warm, the place was spotless and the breakfast gargantuan. Real maple syrup rather than ersatz... More

We don't normally stay in B & B's, but are glad we did. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. An excellent breakfast with coffee, tea, juice, cereal, fresh fruit, sweet breads and the "main breakfast course", was cooked to order & served daily. A highlight of our stay was meeting so many people from different countries, provinces, and states.... More

Although we traveled as a couple, not a family...we felt this home was like being part of the family that lived there. Children played outside and others helped their grandmother indoors with the guests getting settled. We stayed two nights. We were able to go out at night and sneak back in late without disturbing other guests. We had gone... More

We inquired at a local B&B only to find it was full. We asked them to recommend a place, and this is where they sent us. The owner was friendly and the room tidy, with a small private bath. On the edge of town, we walked to a local restaurant for dinner. Breakfast was typical and adequate. Three stars means... More

We enjoyed this B&B during our stay. The location was good. It is a heritage home, and our bedroom was decorated in a Victorian theme. It was so pretty I took a picture of it. Our breakfast the next morning was delicious, including home made banana bread. I forgot my jacket in the closet and the owner sent it in the... More

We stayed here at the beginning of June. We were coming from St John, New Brunswick by ferry. Ferry was arriving at midnight. Almost everything is closed at 5 pm in NS- keep this in your mind! We were lucky as the owner lady was waiting for us – we gave a call when were at ferry and reserved a... More

We stayed at this establishment 3 nights while on our Maritime vacation. We found it to be excellent value for the money. Our room was upgraded to one with a full kitchen and much more space, at no extra charge. The owner was a delight to chat with in the mornings, and the lady who served breakfast and cleaned the... The room had that motel smell... like they cleaned in a way to try to cover something up. I wasn't enjoying it and opened up all the windows. Its not the best location. If I had to do it over, I'd stay at the B&B affiliated with Mag Pye's bakery. We had to leave early... before breakfast. She accommodated us... More

Room large sized, 2 comfy chairs, tv, very high four poster bed with a firm mattress. Small bathroom with bathtub/shower. Gloria, our hostess, was very friendly and helpful with a recommendation of where to dine. The location was a few blocks, and very nice walk into the heart of town and there is a gas station right across the street... More
