This has to be the nicest place to stay in Antigonish. All the rooms are unique and charming. The house itself is beautiful. The staff are very friendly and the breakfast is worth the price of admission.

This is a beautiful elegant Victorian home. The woodwork in the public spaces i.e. dining room, front reception, front sitting room is beautiful. Our room was at the front of the house, bright and cheery , comfortable , and a large bathroom with modern fixtures. We were the only guests the night we were there but staff were attentive and... I landed up tired in Antigonish and stumbled on The Victorian Inn by accident. Norma Jean MacDonald, the landlady, showed me up to a very comfortable bedroom where Pierre Trudeau and other statesmen had stayed. Excellent breakfasts to start the day on the right foot. I specially changed my itinerary so I could spend another night there! Highly recommended !!!!!

I stayed here and found it lovely. The room was comfortable, well furnished and very clean. I stayed in the Martha room. which is at the back and quiet. I did find the plumbing a little noisy at night I kept hearing water running but I am a light sleeper and others might not notice it at all. The people... More

Very nice B and B, comfortable rooms, very clean! Which is always high on my list of needs, complimentary breakfast served until 9:30 which is a treat if your not an early bird, accommodating to guests, and helpful with recommendations for eateries and points of interest in the area, pretty little town lots of charm to take in, the drive... what a find - this is a comfotable and cozy inn at the edge of the main st Antigonish. The location is great, ample parking and the Rooms are big and well furnished in a victorian style. We had one night here and slept in the Queen's Room and felt like royalty.

We had the tower room which is spacious and very nice. However the queen side bed was uncomfortable and on small side with air conditioning blowing on the bed. One of us ended sleeping in sofa which actually was better than the bed. That said, the room was nice, reception friendly and the inn itself well located and beautiful

Lovely Victorian Inn with a delicious breakfast included. Clean and neat room. Our room had a bathroom however not all the rooms do. Helpful and cheerful staff. We could only get one channel on the TV but perhaps I was doing something wrong with the remote.

My husband and I stayed in the St. Ninian room last night, and we loved it. We had a queen bed with a private bathroom right across the hall. The inn is very clean and there is no noise. Tonight, we are in an apartment-style room with our daughter which suits us very well. We sat in the beautiful backyard... More
