The Bailey House is comfortable and clean. I slept well. Breakfast is served early in courses. It is delicious. Pace yourself for wonderful home baked biscuits, scones, or muffins; fresh fruit salads, breakfast parfaits and a main course breakfast as well, start and end with hot coffee, juice of tea! Its a great start to the day. Susan, the owner... More

I stayed at this B&B with my husband and parents, as our first stop on a ten day road trip around NS. It was definitely my favourite B&B in which we stayed (we also loved Annapolis Royal!). Susan is a lovely lady who clearly takes pride in her home and business. She was really helpful with suggestions of where to... More

I first stayed at the Bailey House five years ago, loved it and Annapolis Royal, and planned to return some day. I finally did! The house is gorgeous - beautifully decorated and so very comfortable - and the location is ideal, tucked away from the busy side of town, right along the water on George Street. Suzan's breakfasts are divine,... More

I'd give Bailey House high marks in almost every aspect of providing an attractive location, comfortable and stylish surroundings and mouth-watering breakfasts. Located in a meticulously maintained house dating from 1770, the owner, Susan Hebditch, has used her finely honed sense of attractive design to fill the building with carefully selected furnishings. Our spacious room looked out on the Annapolis... More

We arrived on time at this quaint-looking place, and as we did with all the other B&Bs before this one on our trip, we opened the front door and walked in, only to be met by a woman, Susan the proprietor, who gave us a disgusted look and said, "Who are you?!" We said we were her guests. She cooly... More

We chose the Bailey House because it was a quaint, historic home with a waterfront location, and we were not disappointed. But this is not a house museum; Suzan has done a superb job in restoring and decorating this old house, making it very comfortable and charming. As other reviewers have noted, breakfast was a small feast. Kudos to the... More

Stayed in this beautiful heritage home with an awesome view. Beautifully restored and renovated. The house is spotless, beds and pillows comfortable. Private bathrooms with every room. Breakfast was delicious and fresh. Highly recommended.

My wife and I stayed in a room in the back of the house, overlooking the gardens. It was absolutely lovely. Suzan is a decorator by heart and you can tell by the love and care she puts into every detail. Our only issue was that it was HOT; unseasonably hot. There was a fan in the room, but a... More

Stayed two nights in a room at front of the house. Loved the house, the decorating is impeccable, breakfast was great. Suzan was very helpful with our travel plans. (She is a very direct person but I warmed up to her just fine.) Over all, of the twelve places we stayed on a two week trip in the maritimes (mostly... More

An absolutely beautiful old house that was very nicely decorated, it had a nice warm, homely feel. We were very impressed with the room, the decor was modern, but with an old feel. It was very clean and inviting. The bathroom was modern and clean. The towels were so soft and fluffy. The bed was out of this world. A... More
