We have visited charming Annapolis Royal on several occasions but never stayed in the heart of this historic town before now. At the Turret Bead and Breakfast caught our eye for its Victorian charm and a location close to restaurants for a dinner booking. The online listing lived up to its reputation with a very comfortable bedroom with a private... More

We booked ahead for 2 nights and were able to choose the only room on the main floor with its own entrance so we would not need to carry out suitcases up to the second or third floor. The Victoria Room was nicely decorated and had a gas fire, necessary to warm the room in the evenings and in the... More

We stayed over one night in this wonderful historical town and visited Fort Anne, a must to see and ramble around the grounds. Andrea was very friendly and gave us some suggestions of what to see in town and some recommendations on places to eat. We ate at Restaurant Compose that was excellent with a great outside sitting area and... More

My wife and I stayed here for two nights in a clean, comfortable room with a king sized bed. The room had every convenience we needed and everything was very well maintained. Our eating preferences were consulted on arrival which was pleasing. Breakfast was really nice with bread, cereals, fruits, juices, tea and coffee and a traditional fried main course.... More

Located across the street from fort Anne this bed and breakfast was also close to all the shops in the downtown area of Annapolis Royal. Our stay was only slightly marred because of the wharf rat bike rally in nearby Digby, and a few inconsiderate noisy bikers passing through on the streets choosing to revv their engines at 6:30 in... We stayed there one night and were delighted. Good location, nice homely Victorian atmosphere, room a bit small but very well equipped, excellent breakfast prepared by the charming and helpul owner Andrea. Reasonable price. Annapolis Royal is a great place to visit, it has a rich Acadian history.

Convenient location right across the street from the Fort. Nice clean facility, though the room was small and crammed. We experienced the coldest welcome we have ever experienced in a B&B --and we have stayed at tons of inns like this. We rang the door bell and the door opened to a "yeeees!?" instead of a welcome! or hello!. People... More

What an amazing stay!! Annapolis Royal has so much history that we didn't even know about. Andrea was an amazing host and the breakfast was delicious. AC in all rooms and a comfy bed. Can't wait to go back!! The Graveyard tour is a must. Ask Andrea anything you want to know about the area and she can point you... More

We stayed at the Turret B&B on a trip to Canada. The room was comfortable and spacious. The stay and breakfast were not particularly memorable, nor was the hospitality. We would look for other B&B's if in the area again.

My husband and I stayed two nights on our way around Nova Scotia. A beautiful heritage property very well appointed. Bedrooms upstairs with en-suite bathrooms. Toiletries, hair-dryer, big fluffy towels. Windows that open or use the heating system. Hostess/owner Andrea a well travelled lady offers a service well beyond expectations. Breakfasts are more than sufficient, fresh fruits, eggs done to... More
