The Stella Rose was our favourite b&b among the many over or 2 week trip. The owners are incredibly sweet and charming, the rooms are very large (ours was a queen with a seperate sitting room ) and our bathroom looked very newly renovated. Breakfast was anything but standard...homemade yogurt parfait, baked eggs on Swiss chard, maple bacon, all while...

We stayed in the separate cabin in the back yard in July 2015. While small inside, the cabin is so beautifully appointed that you don't mind. The cabin sits in a glorious garden and there are ample sitting spots on the large deck of the house and on the porch of the cabin. The cabin has its own parking space.The...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful B&B. Our hosts, Arlene and Dan were a joy, and fun to chat with. Our breakfast was served outdoors on a patio, which was a delight. Oh, and the breakfast was simply delicious! We would highly recommend the Stella Rose and plan to return to stay longer.

Really appreciated the well appointed rooms (including jacuzzi tub!), clean bedding, and private patio! The owners were very nice and welcoming and great cooks (the breakfast was SUPERB!)! We really liked the intimacy of the experience - they only have 3 suites so you get a very personalized experience. Would definitely stay here again!

Stayed a couple of nights with Dan and Arlene and it was the best during our visit to Nova Scotia. Beautiful home, great food and the travel tips were spot on. If you are planning a visit to the wine country of Nova Scotia, do yourself a favor and stay at the Stella Rose!!!

Arlene and Dan restored this beautiful bed and breakfast to perfection. We can't say enough about their hospitality, home, and breakfast. To begin, we asked them for recommendations of things to do and see upon arriving to their home. Wisely, they helped us change course as our driving plans were simply to ambitious for the 2-days. We stayed in two...

Arlene and Dan are exceptional hosts. We felt very welcome and regret that we were only staying one night. Our room had a balcony which looked onto the beautiful gardens. Breakfast was amazing, the coffee "ooh la la". They gave us lots of info on the area and sites not to be missed. Could not have asked for a nicer...
