Very quiet place very nice people very nice hotel good parking places very clean rooms good breakfast easy to get a room when trying to book it.. I recommend the hotel to all my family and friends to stay in..
With very bad experience at another NT downtown hotel, I decided to move to this smaller hotel based on reviews, glad I made the right decision this time. Smaller hotel but very clean and safe, you can tell this hotel is well managed in all aspects especially cleaning, this will be my top choice on my next visit to Yellowknife! Managers in all departments, good work!
Dont ever stay close to downtown if you come to Yellowknife. This place is in a decent location. There's a hidden gem of a lake behind it and a very short walk towards the Shell gas station. Really beautiful sunsets. This place: Pros: safe location. No transients Amenities close by. Walmart, Tims, and restaurants. Staff were great Cons: The air conditioner didnt work properly. I was told to increase the temp and then decrease it. All this did was make the room hot and then cool down to the less hot temp it was before you increased it. I had to get a fan from the front desk. That's not a good plan for August. It's a nice place though and better than the other places Ive stayed in YK.
first time staying there, it was very clean and quiet, with this Covid-19 out here, We felt safe. The room was very clean and the view was nice, and the location was great. it was very convenient that they accepted pets, our cat was right at home, and when we needed extra, towels, it was there in 5 minutes, with my bad leg, I was able to use the elevator and when we needed cash, they had a EMT.
My Winter Road Home. I work the Winter Road and I am so happy to call the Super 8 my home when out of camp for a week. It is so warm and cozy and from the moment I walk in the door and greeted with a big smile until the moment I sadly have to leave they make me feel like I am home! Clean room, beauitfully decorated, wonderful breakfast area, Breakfast Room employee even made me a waffle! Staff amazing and friendly and helpful. Manager Catherine Travis, who by the way is wonderful, has a terrific team working with her and I wouldn't pick another place to stay. You can walk to the Grocery store and grab some snacks to store in the fridge in your room and heat up something up in the microwave while you relax with great internet connection and lots of channels to pick from while laying back on the comfy bed in your tastefully decorated room enjoying the peace and quiet. If you are looking for something to do in Yellowknife the front desk is so helpful to offer many different ideas of where to go and what to do. You will feel so welcomed and once you get there you will be sad when your check out time comes.…
