We loved staying at Eileen and Howard's place and meeting the other guests. Made for some interesting conversations. The hosts are wonderful warm people and we really liked them a lot. The room was nice and you get your choice of breakfast. The only thing we found lacking at almost all the B and B's we stayed at in Newfoundland... More

We spent 3 nights at Banberry House at the end of our Newfoundland trip, and feel we picked a perfect end to a great vacation. As others have mentioned, Eileen and Howard are great hosts. We also enjoyed the 2nd floor room at the back of the house, and had quiet nights sleep. So nice to have while being located... More

We stayed at the Banberry House B&B for two nights in July. It is a really nice old historic home near Bannerman Park, within easy walking distance to a good local coffee shop and an enjoyable stroll to downtown (and a good workout walking back!). Despite a miscommunication on my part as to our arrival time, Eileen took it all... More

Enjoyed an excellent 3-night stay at Banberry house. We had a second floor room facing the rear of the property. Lovely hosts combined with a great night's sleep on a comfy bed, delicious breakfasts, and centrally located within easy walking distance of downtown make this a B&B I would come back to... And they are across the street from Moo-Moo's,... More

My parents and I stayed in Banberry House for two nights. Although there were some mix-ups in the bookings, they were quickly resolved and we ended up really enjoying our stay at Banberry House. The house is very close to the downtown area in St. John's and walk distance from most of the amenities. The rooms were clean and very... More

Wonderful 3 days at this lovely 1892 house. Howard and Eileen are perfect hosts and the breakfasts were excellent. We would definitely make a return visit. The house is beautifully decorated and we felt very elegant when served breakfast enjoying the company of the other guests.

Great location, yummy breakfasts, comfy rooms, but Eileen and Howard are the best reason to stay here. When my wife's knee gave out, Eileen came to the rescue with a cold compress from her freezer. Then, when a downstairs room became available, she insisted we move down there to spare the knee from unnecessary steps. We hesitated because we were... More

A charming heritage house a short walk to everything in the old city. Spacious and comfortable rooms, full breakfasts to order, and very informative, congenial hosts. Thank you very much, Eileen and Howard!

Stayed here three times in June 2016. Comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast and great location. We were made most welcomed by the hosts and had other guests with lots to talk about. The hosts more than exceeded our expectations in a genuine manner and natural hospitality. Yes we'd stay here again.

We started off our trip here and it was truly enjoyable. Having spent 14 days in B&B's across the province, we look back at this one as one of the best. It is on a busy street but that is not an issue for us, especially with the windows closed. Breakfasts were one of the best anywhere we stayed and... More
