My daughter and I were enroute to PEI for a program at UPEI, and we arranged to stay here so she could have her 1st official college tour. Bill and Jean are warm and welcoming. The inn was clean and breakfast excellent. I appreciated Bill and Jean's willingness to connect us with various individuals they knew. We stayed in the... More

We recently had a 5 day stay in order for my daughter to see Mount Allsion. We appreciated the attention to detail, how clean everything was, with comfortable beds, amazing breakfasts that were different every day and access to a comfortable living room to be able to watch parts of the Olympics. Our hosts Jean and Bill were very welcoming,... More

My husband and I stayed for six days recently and I would be remiss if I did not tell others about this great B&B in Sackville New Brunswick. We attended a wedding but had so much else to do while in Sackville. Our hosts knew virtually everybody and everything in Sackville and easily pointed us to the attractions we wanted... More

As a former Mount Allison student, I have stayed at the Savoy Arms multiple times or visited family while they were staying there and it was always wonderful. The house is old and wonderfully full of character; likewise, the rooms are beautifully decorated and very cozy. Bill and Jean are very kind and welcoming, and they always remembered who I... More

I stayed for a weekend with a friend last year, and it was very quickly evident that this B&B was NOT run by warm hearted Maritimers such as we had met at other B&B's--turns out they are from Toronto. We were very warmly greeted at the start, but things quickly deteriorated. Jean, especially, was extremely self-absorbed, rude and controlling. Shortly... More

This is B & B! And that´s why we love B & B! Sackville is a small University Town in the South of New Brunswick. We arrived very late in the dark at Jean & Bill Young´s B & B. We were welcomed heartfully by them and one of their cats. We moved into a lovely room and - after... More

The Savoy Arms is a spacious, lovingly restored and maintained home that offers personal care. It's within walking distance of everything in Sackville, including the Acadian bus (in good weather) and is only a block from the wildfowl marsh. The breakfast is great--fresh, quality dishes well prepared. The owners ask for punctuality at breakfast (your choice of time) for a... More

What's not to like? Jean and Bill were gracious and congenial, exceptionally helpful, well-informed about Sackville and the area, totally welcoming and professional. They went the extra mile for us on several occasions. Their property is a lovely old home. Jean does a variety of breakfast eggs in her own inimitable style, and the preparations mean that she quite rightly... More

Fortunately, I had read the previous reviews so I felt prepared. As someone who is very punctual and very particular, I had an enjoyable stay. Jean and Bill were delightful, but, I can see why some might be "put off." Staying at a B&B, while it is "public accommodation," is NOT the same as staying at a hotel. Anyone who... More
