I stay with the Marriott brand for over 80 nights a year. So needless to stay I am well experienced staying away from home. I find this hotel fantastic. I find the rooms very clean and spacious. More than a regular hotel. It feels like my own apt. The staff is very welcoming. Special shout out to Tania, who always has a warm smile and always remembers my name. It is always great to go to a place where they know your name. She is very helpful and kind. I would to stay here over any other places in Moncton. I usually come here for business but when I come with family I also only stay here. Well recommended

We had to leave a day earlier for our trip to Saint John and stayed in Moncton for the night. We all had a great time and stayed in the 2 bedroom suite that gave us all the space we needed traveling as a family (grandparents and small family of 3). The pool and hot tub was fun, breakfast was great and the staff were fabulous at check in and check out. We had a bit of time in the morning to head down the main road and found the greatest shop - STILE. Highly recommend!

Marriott Residence Inn in Moncton, New Brunswick Dec 12,2023 - Jan 29, 2024 The Marriott Residence Inn in Moncton, NB , where faux luxury meets a touch of home-style dysfunction. Imagine our surprise when our most recent work-related six-week stay in room 627 turned into an unexpected adventure in domestic troubleshooting. First off, the stove seemed to have taken a vow of non-cooperation, stubbornly refusing to perform its basic duties. Then, there was the leaky fridge, which evidently decided to join the stove in rebellion and needed a swift replacement. Not to be outdone, the waterlogged dishwasher threw in its towel, demanding a replacement of its own. The pièce de résistance, however, was the king mattress. It had seen better days, sinking into despair and requiring a makeshift solution involving a board cut to size and slipped underneath, in a vain attempt to restore its former glory. The non-supportive couch, not wanting to feel left out, followed suit. Weekends brought their own special kind of joy, with the hotel hallways transforming into a playground for the under-12 set. Impromptu hockey games and marathons, complete with screaming and stairwell races as well as inebriated and absentee parents, added that special zest to our stay. Emailed complaints to the ever-surprised hotel manager, May Lee, were met with solutions that seemed as temporary as they were incredulous, as if each complaint was a novel revelation to her. In essence, the Marriott Residence Inn in Moncton, NB offered a sturdy exterior with a hostel-like interior experience, lacking in the quality control one would expect of a North American hotel. It was an establishment where the unexpected became the norm, and the norm was anything but expected. On a brighter note, the front desk staff and maintenance personnel were accommodating, and pleasant to deal with.

I had the pleasure of staying at this perfectly located Marriott Hotel the last time I was in Moncton on business. I was impressed with the comfort of the bed (always of the greatest importance when staying in a hotel I believe), and was actually late for an appointment as I could not seem to leave the comfort of it! The room was very clean, and I am a bit of a diva when it comes to hotels and their cleanliness, having worked in 5* hotels in the past. I love these little suites that are fully equipped (FULLY!) to make travel feel much more like home. Bed, desk, full-size fridge, dishes and full cutlery sets, and a dishwasher - what more could you ask for? I have to especially compliment the staff who were welcoming and helpful each time I approached them; my experience tells me they enjoy working with each other to be like this each and every time they were encountered. The breakfast staff were very friendly and considerate, always making sure that breakfast items were replenished, and the front desk staff even went so far as to walk me through the hotel to help me get to the closest door to The Keg (which is a maze!). Upon check-in, seeing I had a cast on my foot, my room was moved to make it easier for me to get to and from the elevator, which I had not thought about - great anticipation of my needs. I am a light sleeper and usually request a room as far away from the elevator as possible, but the format of these rooms made even a light sleeper like me have a very restful sleep.

We chose this hotel purely because we wanted to make it our base to visit everything in the vicinity including Prince Edward island (did you know the toll for that bridge, which you pay upon returning to the mainland is 50.25 CAD!!!!???) We were welcomed by Wayne which is honestly, the most gracious and amazing receptionist I ever came across and the 3 of us got upgraded from the 1 bedroom to the 2 bedroom suite with 2 bathrooms: - suite 502 was backing the hotel car park (which is currently free of charge) and produced no noise - with anything in the kitchen although we needed only the freezer to store our ice creams, 3 TVs although the 'boys' only used one TV while I lazed in a bedroom watching the other TV - warm breakfast with fruits, juices etc - the only downside being the presence of several screaming young kids and people pushed the doors to access it even after the staff closed them: eating Halal yet putting mountains of food on their plates is considered rather greedy - a great Japanese restaurant across the road and a rather pretentious Keg in the same building housing the hotel which they chose to let you wait despite the restaurant being rather empty - you need reservation even in Moncton, nevermind Paris, London, NY, right? Is interesting how much a good night sleep and a gracious host like Wayne can leave you with memorable experiences!!!

A great start to our Maritime adventure! This hotel is right on the main drag, close to Bore Park, great bars and restos, There is a Keg on the premises. The rooms are smaller than many Residence Inns, but more than big enough for two. The rooms are great for business travellers, with a good sized desk, lots of power outlets and a comfy chair. Breakfast was terrific with a nice selection of hot and cold items and a staffer right there to keep things fresh. The only things I would change would be to train the front desk staff about nearby amenities -- we asked, for example, where we could buy a bottle of wine and the employee just looked at us blankly and started Googling. (BTW, about two blocks away is a fantastic liquor store). The other thing would be to offer tea and coffee after the breakfast service. We would have loved to top up our cups on our way out the door. Not a big deal. Otherwise, this is a great stay and we will definitely plan to come here next time we're in town.

This is a large hotel at the edge of downtown, walking distance to shops, restaurants and the waterfront. The room was large and bright and had everything we needed. Breakfast was good too. The only mild complaint is that $16/day parking seemed excessive.

We had a comfortable king suite overlooking a side street, so it was pretty quiet. We had to pin the drapes shut to keep out morning light. Breakfast was standard, although they were out of one of the cereals one day. We were informed about housekeeping every 3rd day, but after our 3rd night no one came to clean. Mid-afternoon we requested fresh towels, which were delivered after about an hour. There was a fire alarm at midnight the first night of our stay. I was surprised how many people actually left the hotel. But there was no one from the hotel to let us know what happened and to ensure safety (we saw 2 people fall from the steep step when exiting the building). Next day, no explanation, no apologies. Charge for parking. Two of four dryers in the laundry room were out of order, as was one of 6 washing machines.

Our family will definitely stay here again. All of our interactions with the staff from the front desk, to the pool area, breakfast staff, the room attendants and the GM were pleasant, helpful, respectful and professional. The breakfast was delicious, our room and the hotel overall was very clean. We felt welcome and we were happy to be able to take our dog with us. Having a kitchen was so great. The kids loved the pool and hot tub. We were happy with the location as well. It was an enjoyable experience for us as a family and we look forward to our stay here again. Thank you

I was looking for a hotel with 2 bedrooms, and this was the only one I could find in Moncton so that's why I booked it. We were generally satisfied and I would recommend booking there if you want a larger suite with a kitchen. The breakfast buffet was good with lots of choices. The downsides: -our room faced the street and the noise from cars was very loud. There was even drag racing Saturday night after midnight. The hotel is right next to the police station so I have no idea why that was tolerated by the local police. Request a room facing away from the main street. -The room was showing some wear and tear and could probably be updated room. The fridge was leaking water from the freezer into the fridge. - I was surprised there was no housekeeping. I wasn't told about that upon check in. When checking out I saw a sign stating that there was housekeeping every 3rd day. Would be helpful to know this upon check in, along with info about where to throw out garbage and recycling and how to request new towels (the room was a bit damp and nothing dried while we were there)
