I have mentioned this Restaurant before and it is indeed a hidden gem. Went there tonite with friends, the Buffet is delightful and the Prime Rib is Delish! The Buffet has lots of options for everyone, the salads are fresh and well presented. Very good value for your money.
The rooms were comfortable & clean. Bathroom was dated but the level of cleanliness made up for it. The mall was close at hand, making it accessible for any purchase necessary during our stay. The food was always amazing at the Brass Rail & the Lounge. We had a 7 day stay during a sudden death in our family. This prolonged stay gave ample opportunity to get to know the staff from the front desk to the kitchen staff & cleaners. All were most welcoming & accommodating. Pam & Scott from the Oak Lounge stand out as the most helpful & considerate staff members during our stay. Made all of us feel very much at home & cared for. That kind of service is hard to find & we commend them on their exemplary style of meeting the needs of their clients!!
Upon checking-in, I advised front desk that we would not have our dogs with us. She asked if I wanted to be switched rooms. I said it wasn't necessary, just ensure we are not charged for the pet fee. The room was a total disappointment!! I appears that they keep "special rooms" for guests travelling with dogs. The room itself was acceptable, but the bathroom was a rat hole! Dirty corking around bathtub, stained tiles on the floor, paint peeling off the walls, rust/dirt stains on the ceiling...Horrible! Reserve somewhere else, you and your pets deserve MUCH better!
Myself and 5 coworkers were on business staying at the Fredericton Inn (great spot, comfy and clean rooms) and we ate at the Brass Rail for two breakfasts and one lunch. Sara was our server and she remembered our drink preferences and suggested great menu choices. Truly exceptional customer service. I will gladly stay there again!
We had booked for only one night but ended up staying for 3. The room was very clean and not cramped. The bathroom was a bit dated but very functional. The pool and hot tub were a blessing after full days of walking in the cold. We chose to use the tub and pool right before closing time, so we basically had them for ourselves. The second night the hot tub was full of dark hair, that put us off a bit.. We also took advantage of the Brass Room for breakfast and of the Regency for one dinner. Breakfast was great, with both options for me (lots of fruit) and my husband (bacon, sausages, eggs any kind, potatoes any kind, etc.). Waitresses were very friendly and prompt with refills of tea and coffee. The atmosphere was very relaxing, although it was very crowded both mornings. Dinner at the Regency was also amazing. We had a very friendly waiter who waited the room basically alone, yet offered a perfect service. My husband and I had the onion soup - for me it had a bit too much cheese and croutons, but the taste was great. I then had the sole filet with mashed potatoes and vegetables. I was so pleasantly surprised that the vegetables were perfectly cooked and the mashed potatoes actually tasted like real potatoes and were incredibly fluffy. I wasn't very hungry but I ate everything, even my husband's veggies. I also had dessert: a delicious creme brulee, which actually tasted like creme brulee and not just sugar with some vanilla flavoring. The hotel is fairly big and during our stay it was very busy, yet it was very clean and had a relaxing atmosphere. We will definitely keep this hotel in mind should we ever go back to Fredericton. The only thing we were not very happy about is that we originally had booked the room for $99 + tax, which then became $129 + tax.…
